The Friday evenings enjoying the food and the live music makes for a good evening out. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service excellent.

“Every meal is perfect”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 March 2014

I often eat here knowing that all the food is freshly cooked with care and vegetarian. Each time we go in there we have the courteous staff explain fully what is in each dish. There is a choice of salads to accompany the food which are all home made. The food may end up a bit more expensive than a cafe but the quality is worth every penny.
The restaurant is situated on 2 floors, both surrounded by quirky items to buy or even look at! The upstairs gives the feeling that you are in a well lit conservatory. The stairs tend to be steep with trays of food and the toilets are upstairs!

“After a few days of overindulgence in meat this is the best”

Best vegetarian selection, I love to go here because you come out feeling very good, the food is excellent. I also love coffee and a cherry scone in the morning. Very good extremely wholesome food.

“Favourite lunch venue”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 March 2014 via mobile

If I am in Rugby and need lunch or a treat this is my go to destination. The soup is a huge bowl of delight always tasty and hot. Staff are pleasant and efficient. The scones are fabulous light and the cherry ones full of fruit. I usually have tea which is a generous pot for one. The interior is an Alladins cave of lovely things.Quiche pizza and salads are filling and fantastic. The only negative point I would raise is that some of the tables downstairs are close together and upstairs the chairs are to low for the tables or the tables are too high.

“Vegetarian with Jazz”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 March 2014

No it's not cheap, but as far as I'm aware it's been under the same owners for 20 plus years and the customers keep coming back. This is a treat for us two or three times a year to catch up with friends and we go Friday nights, which is live Jazz night. Without exception the artists are 1st class and the intimate setting means it's like having them perform in your living room! We are not vegetarians, although the Restaurant is, but we have never been disappointed by the fayre presented. Its all home made organic ingredients. We normally skip starters to leave room for sweets and what a choice. Mouth watering cakes sponges trifles and pies with cream or ice cream leave you full to popping. Bottled beers of various independent breweries plus wines all make the whole experience a most rewarding one.
If you like eating and live music Summersaults does not disappoint.
