Description: El Cafe is a spanish cafe bar in the heart of Shipston On Stour. Come down for an authentic Spanish coffee, a selection of Tapas or a few glasses of wine! The times that we advertise are for food orders/bookings, as in true Spanish style we close when we have finished, we like to fiesta in the evening but in the afternoon we close the kitchen at 2:30pm for our siesta, this is so we can do fiesta!!!

This is a small, intimate café serving wonderful tapas, pizzas, salads and more. Also having a good wine list. Great for a romantic evening or a get together with friends and/or family. I've also been for dinner with works colleagues and lunch. Anytime with anyone is good.

As always great food, great service and friendly atmosphere. Loving the heated outside space too. As usual had a mix of tapas and couldn't fault anything on the menu.

Whilst very small the cafe has a good atmosphere and also an outside dining area, heated when the weather is not so good and covered in the sunshine. Food is well prepared and presented and is great value.

Lovely little place for lunch, great service, lovely tasty food. We had 3 tapas and the mixed bean chilli nachos with a couple of glasses of wine each. Can really recommend the patatas bravas, the sauce on top was just gorgeous

Small restaurant in the centre of Shipston on Stour, but big heart and great food. Snuck in for a bit of tapas with the kids on an early weeknight. The owner was very kind, prepared less spicy tapas for the kids and was very understanding with regards to the pressures of parents attempting to dine and expose their children to other cultures foods.
This place is also brilliant for nibbling tapas and sipping wine with friends, I would highly recommend taking kids for lunch or early evening so as not to disturb snobby diners. The inside area is small and cozy - perfect for a romantic meal, but they have added a very nice heated conservatory area for large parties.
They will be temporarily closed in late Jan and will be changing the menu etc, so watch this space!
