Description: Anya and the team welcome you to The Court of Request's Official Trip Advisor page. The Court of Request's is a family pub located in the heart of the Black Country. Since opening in January 2012 the pub has gone on to become a staple part of Oldbury. The surroundings are both modern and traditional, with an aim to fit into the historic value the building has. Before life as a pub began, the building had been built in 1816 as a court. This is a running theme throughout the pub.... We are very proud to boast a wide range of both food and drinks as well as fantastic and friendly team of staff. We are also available for to take bookings for meetings, birthdays and other events. So whether its a family occasion, a business meeting, or even just a quick coffee after 'the big shop' we are more than welcoming, and look forward to seeing you!

This a great Wetherspoons pub with good guest beers and beer festivals. Standard Wetherspoons fare cheap and cheerful, The location used to be the old courthouse and is very interesting, using old photos and cell doors. One of the nicer Wetherspoons

The food was excellent and the Guinness was super, nice and cold. This is the best Wetherspoon's I have ever been in very clean with great staff. I will be going back and trying another nice meal.

This is outstandingly the loveliest Wetherspoon's I have ever visited. The building has been thoughtfully converted, the interior design is wonderful, the decor is delightful & the garden is charming. The staff were friendly & helpful. Having said that the breakfast was not the best Wetherspoon's breakfast I have ever had because my bacon was so burnt I found it inedible. Will try again for another meal because it's such a nice place to be.

This building used to be a library until Wetherspoons took it over and changed it into a really modern pub. The service is great and the drinks and food selection are first class. There are theme days for food such as curry on Thursday and fish and chips on a Friday and special deals for a drink with the food.
I would recommend this establishment as a great addition to the range of pubs and eating places in Oldbury.
