“Ideal stop over with young family”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 April 2014

Stayed for one night to visit nearby Cadburys World. Booked a family room as we were travelling with a 6yr old and a toddler.
Good size room, bright and clean. Extra bed and travel cot were made up on arrival. Another reviewer mentioned blankets being 'hospital-like' - yes, they were the open weave style but as these are recommended for babies I'm not sure what else you'd expect?
Lovely big tv on the wall. Bathroom with shower over the bath.
Our room was in a dedicated quiet zone and it was exactly that - really quiet.
Staff on desk very helpful when we had brief wifi trouble.
Lovely breakfast next door in the Brewers Fayre, and value is pretty good with kids being free. We had a meal down the road in the evening - a family pub called the Fayre and Square. Nothing special but a varied menu and a wacky warehouse indoor play area (£3.50 each) which kept the kids quiet.
Can't fault it.

Room Tip: I think family rooms are all situated in the quiet zone but worth double checking when booking

Just returned home from a two night stay and I have to say once again there is little not to like about Premier Inn's. This was a very comfortable stay, great sleep both nights, very quiet indeed. The hotel was ideal for us as it was just a 10 mins. from the Black Country Living Museum where we spent a day walking round. Staff very helpful and always had a smile, we would return to this Inn.
Mini down side was the meal on the first night at the attached pub, keep well away from the buffet, very poor. Breakfast was OK and the second night we ordered off the menu and food was better but nothing special. Not sure they have anything to do with premier Inn's but as we booked table I have included in my review.

Room Tip: We where in rooms 24 and 25, right at the back of the hotel and very quiet indeed (ground floor),

Lovely nights stay no noise or hassle. Room very comfortable with free 30 minutes of wifi, flat screen television Will return here again in August when we come back for the wedding.

We have just stayed here for the second time as it is a good base for visiting local attractions like the black country museum and dudley zoo. Premier inn as usual provided everything we needed and although situated on a busy road we couldn't hear the traffic at all. The only thing that let it down was the attached brewers fayre restaurant where we had dinner on our first night. The food was awful, overcooked, overpriced and really small portions. The second night they were having an all you can eat Mexican fiesta, I would call it an all you can stomach Mexican disaster!!! We actually took photos to send to brewers fayre as it looked so awful and we ended up in the KFC opposite for a better meal!

this was our first time in a premier inn, on the whole it was fine but we found the bed to be much too hard and caused a restless night, not too sure if we would stay again, but don't take this as a negative, it just didn't suit us very well
