We have now stayed in all three Butlins hotels, and the Wave is every bit as good as the others. A slightly lesser sea view than the others but the rooms are so fun and come with everything you could expect from a high grade hotel. Service was always efficient and friendly. The in house restaurant is the Deck buffet, I can't recommended the food plan enough, I have probably put on a stone over the weekend as there were so many delicious foods to try each day. Thank Butlins

Just returned from Mon-Fri at the Wave hotel. 4 adults, 4 children and a baby staying in interconnecting rooms. The hotel in general was new and little signs of wear and tear, however there were a few niggles.

- the travel cot for the baby (17 months) was ROCK hard. The base had no padding whatsoever. This resulted in her sleeping only in our bed as there was no way I'd sleep on a board, let alone let a baby do it. Not what you expect considering we actually paid to rent it!!
- in each room there were 4 or 5 of us. There were never enough towels for 1 each. Every day we'd have to request for more towels
- no bath mat in either room. Not sure if this is standard but seems very strange. We eventually used hand towels on the floor instead!
- lastly, on the Thursday, our room was left open. Not sure for how long as we were out from 8.30-8pm so could have been all day. When I complained to reception, there was not so much as an apology

We also had the premium dining option which gave us breakfast and dinner. I'd use this again as it was quite flexible in the evenings and meant we could use other restaurants.

Overall a good break. Fun for the kids. But more attention to detail required.

Just back from a Mon to Fri stay at Bognor Regis Wave Hotel. We have always stayed in self catering before (never again). Really nice hotel with spacious room. Children loved their own bunk room and having a TV of their own to watch although they didn't do that very much as we were busy 'doing' on the resort. Accommodation room was clean and tidy loved the lighting and the bed was really comfortable. If I had one criticism it would be that the corridors sometimes looked untidy with rubbish and the floors could of done with a vacuum but our room was always kept clean and tidy so no complaints with our room. Also went for the dining option and was really pleased we did lovely breakfast and evening meal but a personal request mushrooms please for breakfast and perhaps fruit salad and scrambled egg :)
Will be back to Butlins and a hotel stay every time felt like a real treat at a reasonable price you get a lot for your money. Kids love it and their memories are priceless.

Room Tip: ask for a a high rise one and a sea view if you can with a balcony also away from the lifts which we...

We've just got back from a Butlins Live Music weekend and had a n absolute blast!

We would highly recommend the Wave hotel as it is close to everything. We dined in The Deck and the food was excellent with lots of choice and really tasty.

Looking forward to going again!!

If you're thinking of booking - do it you won't regret it!

We stayed here for the weekend for my 50th birthday. The hotel is very bright and modern and close to all the amenities. We arrived about 3pm and the car park was already starting to fill up quickly so we had to park at the front of the hotel. tip; arrive early to get parking space at hotel or have to park miles away at front of butlins complex. Our room was lovely ,a family room with double bed and a den with bunk beds. it was on the first floor facing the complex and the bright yellow accessories were a little worrying for my husband but after a couple of days we liked it.
The room was clean and housekeeping came daily to restock the tea/ coffee / towels/toilet roll.
The staff were friendly and available 24 hrs. wifi was available throughout the hotel and rooms though the wifi kept going off in the room so we just walked to the room door and it came on again.
Overall very impressed with hotel, would stay again but it became obvious this destination is known as a shag fest to the vast amount of hen / stag parties.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the complex or you have a view of the roads.

Nice hotel for a long weekend. The rooms were good with plenty of space and modern. Jess on reception was really helpful when we checked in. Really knowledgeable about the site and always will to help when needed.

Having previously stayed at The Ocean Hotel, I decided to book the Wave Hotel for a pre Christmas break for the three of us.

We arrived later, so were directed to an overflow car park, but still not far from the hotel room. The Reception was welcoming, and the team were very helpful. Note ... Try and book Santa early as we couldn't get booked in till 7:15 on Sunday evening. It's first some first served.

The room was clean, comfortable and warm, and my little boy (7) loved his Octopus Room. Not much space for clothes storage for him, but plenty in the main room.

The room was spacious, with Mini fridge hidden discretely in the cupboard, very neat! We had an In shore Dolphin Room with a nice balcony, and plenty of room for the three of us. Towels are a nice size and the room was serviced well by the team.

We had dinner on our first night at The Deck, I have to say, although there was plenty to chose from, we weren't overly impressed with the food standard and chose to eat in the Beachcomber Inn for the next two nights.

Having booked B&B, the breakfast was served in the Deck Restaurant, a short walk away from the Wave Hotel. Again, the team were welcoming, there was plenty of choices to pick from, and it was replenished as and when needed.

I have to say we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely go again.

We watched wrestling on Saturday, so funny! The Panto on Sunday was very good and Santa was great, the grotto was well laid out. My only observation would be to have a heater in the outside area as it was freezing for the children whilst you waited to be called in. There was snow on the trees in the grounds and you were always made to feel welcome by everyone on the team that met you. The ice skating was a nice touch too!

Overall we had a great break and I'd definitely go back. Book early and get yourself a great price.

Room Tip: Book early to get your best price.
