Description: We are proud to say that "Little London" is a traditional English Tea Shop providing good quality refreshment and food, we will always have a smile and always have time to pass the time of day with every one of our customers. We only allow assistance dogs into the shop with their owners, but are more than happy for other dog owners to sit at our tables outside - we do have a big water bowl that any dog is free to use. We have a grade 5 Food Hygiene rating and delighted to say that we have just been awarded a Gold Award through the local "Eat Out Eat Well" initiative in conjunction with our local council

On a dreary Sunday afternoon the tea, sandwiches and cakes provided were warming and cheering. With a range of of different china services on each table and more on the dressers, there was a sense of expectation even before ordering. The plain tea was particularly good and served with a pot of hot water it meant that there was plenty of it and it remained hot and fresh throughout. One sandwich, served with a salad was ample, but the cakes were impossible to resist. I would return again for either. A great little place for a refreshing bite and cup of tea or coffee.

Very nice couldn't eat all the cakes so they wrapped them for us to take them home, which was lovely. Scone was a bit to big rather a smaller one. Lovely lady very accommodating and helpful. Loved the vintage china and the decor.

At long last, a lovely little tea room which is beautifully presented and serves proper afternoon tea on real tea plates etc. Visited for a baby shower for my friend, where we were offered a single price for afternoon tea (per person) which consisted of tea, a round of sandwiches and a gorgeous cupcake each, which was decorated just for us! We spent ages eating, drinking and chatting and didn't feel at all hurried or rushed, quite the opposite in fact. Will certainly return!

We've been here a few times and every time has been fantastic, an amazing range of food on the menu, sandwiches, cakes and other treats, all of which can be enjoyed with tea or coffee as it should be. There's a real local feel to the whole experience which makes a great change to the high street chains.

Not only can you pop in for your drink and a bite to eat, we've just enjoyed a day out using their picnic service too. We selected what we wanted from the menu a few days before and then just went and picked up our picnic on the way to our day out. The food was prepared brilliantly in containers and really helped make our day out brilliant. What's more all of this was at a price that just can't be beaten! If you're having a day out I'd recommend instead going to a supermarket to get your picnic supplies as you can't beat the fresh home made sandwiches and delicious home made cakes!
