Just stayed at the Inglenook while attending a wedding , the room was very large and comfortable, décor was in keeping with the hotel , very charming, staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent in the period restaurant, great start to the day .

My wife and I have stayed here numerous times over the years. Mainly for the Festival of Speed, but also for a couple of short breaks. The staff are very polite and always accommodating, and the food is excellent. If I had one minor criticism, it would be the locals dogs in the small bar. They can create a bit of an obstacle when going to the restaurant, I am 6"9" and trying not to bang my head on the beams, and watch where I am walking at the same time can be hazardous!!
It will not stop us from returning though, it all adds to the charm.

Room Tip: The hotel is very popular for weddings etc, so try and avoid a room above the function room.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review , we are very pleased to hear how much you enjoy your time with us . I can fully understand the dog issue , especially when Sam is visiting !!! The good news is you can access the restaurant through the consevatory and a member of our staff will be more than pleased to show you that way. We look forward to you visiting with us again .

We had an overnight stay with B&B And dinner on our way from Sussex and Devon on Monday 18th the hotel is in village between Bognor and Chichester and is an old quaint building with a beautiful courtyard garden . We had a lovely en - suite room and a superb dinner very nicely served. Breakfast was also very good . A find that we will visit again .
