Fantastic B&B in every way! Lovely accommodation, very clean and beautifully decorated, pretty location. Super food - warm homemade bread and cake on arrival! Friendly and welcoming host. We loved it!

Our experience of Burghurst Lodge was fantastic! Jessica has done a wonderful job of converting this little outbuilding, and it makes for a superb, self-contained bed and breakfast accommodation with everything you could possibly need. The room was welcoming, spotless and large in size, and it was great to have all the necessary items already in the kitchen for breakfast so that we could help ourselves whenever we were ready.
Jessica was delightful to deal with in the run up to the booking and helped us out hugely by allowing an "early arrival" which meant we could get ready for the wedding we were attending in the room before heading out. She also very kindly organised the taxi.
We could not fault the place and would certainly return given the opportunity, as well as recommending it to friends without hesitation. Brilliant!

Room Tip: Only one room, so no other guests to worry about, and it comes with a proper little kitchen, a lovely ensuite, a separate entrance and even some patio furniture to sit outside (if weather appropriate) and eat breakfast in the sun.

I was made to feel welcome from my first emailed enquiry; Jessica is very kind and helpful. The room is detached from the house, only 5 metres or so, so you have complete privacy. The room is spacious, with separate well-fitted kitchen, and shower-room; all very comfortable and well-heated. The continental breakfast is excellent - and very generous, you won't go hungry - and the cooked breakfast is excellent quality and value.
If we have any opportunity to return to this beautiful village, this will be my first choice.

Very well set up b&b with lovely friendly host. Our second visit and not our last. Highly recommended for value for money, comfort and facilities. Completely restful, everything you need for breakfast is in your kitchen - fresh bread, preserves, yoghurt, cereal and delicious fruit compote.....you can also request a cooked breakfast - but not necessary. Wifi is also available. You are definitely made to feel very welcome but as the room is separate from the house, it feels very private and relaxed.

Excellent B&B set in a pretty village location in Horsted Keynes.
The room is spacious, very well decorated and furnished. It has a good size separate kitchen area allowing food preparation and of course a nice ensuite bathroom. Highly recommended.
