As others have said its a great place to pass and indicates that I have 5 mins before I am home, I always go this way off the M23 into Haywards Heath, its true Victorian engineering and a fantastic sight at night if you don't know it's there all of a sudden you see lights from the trains passing high above, when some work was done on the viaduct a few years ago, it was flood lit and it looked very impressive, if you go to Haywards Heath make a point on returning via Balcombe the view will take your breathe away

Whether I cross this lovely viaduct by train or drive past it I always take in the sheer beauty of the lovely Sussex countryside.

I am really fortunate to live in Sussex.

Fabulous stretch of arches high over the Ouse Valley. Also visible from the higher slopes near Cuckfield Golf Couse. If you are on the train going across the viaduct, it can be quite breathtaking especially in the early morning or at sunset

To view this up close is amazing. Fantastic piece of engineering. Well worth a visit.
Would like it if there were more information available on-site. Parking on main road can be very hairy!
Beware - we went after it had been raining and the area around it was very boggy.

When I drive back from London I take this route back, just to see it, I have stopped and walked over.
If you shout through the Hoops it gives a funny echo, and from a distance it looks like something from a WW11 film set.
Very nice, go and have a look
