Lovely setting, style, atmosphere and attitude, and the food was generally well-presented and very good. But I've reservations on two points. One is that the very pleasant waiting staff rather over-did their eagerness to discover whether or not everything was alright at our table. Maybe they could just silently observe a bit more next time? Secondly, I had the vegetarian option and it was very small. Even the single piece of bread I was given didn't help much. My wife's meat dish was far more satisfying (she said) and other meat eaters sitting nearby looked equally pleased. ps I'm not even a vegetarian, just fancied the sound of that particular dish. Shame.
