Just returned from a one night stay at Arundel Holt Court having been in the area for a wedding. From the moment of booking Pete, the owner, was incredibly helpful and when we arrived we were greeted warmly by the nicest little dog I have ever met! Nothing was too much trouble and the fantastic owners have injected such a wonderful atmosphere into what is an incredible house with beautiful views and modern, comfortable bedrooms. Breakfast felt like it had come from a fine dining restaurant and we were even given a lift back to pick up our car from the wedding venue in the morning. I have truly never stayed in a place more welcoming and would recommend a visit!

Our superb weekend started well before we left London. We needed accommodation near Goodwood because we were going to Glorious Goodwood races. The Host Peter Drummond sent through precise directions which were invaluable for two visiting Kiwis. Peter was there to welcome us with a big smile. He introduced us to his wife Monica who was charming.
They couldn't have been more obliging, suggesting things to do and directing us to some lovely eating places near by.
Arundel Holt Court was by far the best B and B we have stayed in. The rooms were roomy and spotless. The setting with its wonderful views over the farmland were breathtaking. There are many walks from the home through beautiful woodland and over pretty english farmland.
The villages nearby are quaint with cobbled streets. Petworth is definitely worth visiting, full of antique shops. It has a lovely cafe and cheese shop called the Hungry Guest. Petworth House is a must to visit when there. Pete's Breakfasts were one of the highlights, he cooked them himself and they were outstanding!!!
Overall I cant recommend Arundel Holt Court enough. Thank you Peter and Monique for a wonderful experience we will be your biggest advocates when we get back to NZ!

This is a real treat of a b&b in a very handsome house: gorgeous countryside, wonderful views, lovely gardens, good bedrooms/bathrooms, a swimming pool and a fitness centre. Pete Drummond, the host, couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful and he cooks the most delicious breakfasts: the scrambled egg was beyond compare. Add to all this his two dogs and three cats who all accompanied us on a walk up the lane and across the fields and you have a thoroughly exceptionable and memorable experience.

Even before checking in we were made to feel incredibly welcome - small touches such as a little email letting us know that we could get in touch if we needed anything made a huge difference.

The house itself is well set back from the main roads, tucked away in lovely woodland with a spectacular view over the Sussex Downs. The room was vast with a superbly comfortable bed and fanastic linen.

We were offered a range of choices for breakfast with both of us plumping for the full english - the produce was fantastic and all expertly and lovingly cooked.

Throughout the stay we were made to feel so very welcome. It's just a shame you're fully booked for Goodwood!

The next time we're staying in the area I doubt we'd look anywhere else.
