We stayed overnight after attending a wedding nearby. beautiful surroundings, lovely rooms and very comfortable beds. The hosts Howard and Susie were very attentive to our needs at breakfast which was excellent fresh free range eggs from there chickens. Howard even took us to the wedding venue in the morning to pick up our cars. Are definitely planning to return and would recommend for a lovely stay

We stayed in a spacious double bedroom in the main house overlooking the garden. The breakfast was good and my special diet was catered for by Susie and Howard, who go the extra mile to make their guests feel welcome.

My Husband and I have just enjoyed the pleasure of Susie and Howard's hospitality for 4 nights over the Goodwood Revival Weekend. We had a lovely large double room in the main house and were made to feel part of the family by two of the nicest hosts it has ever been our pleasure to meet.
Susie displayed exceptional culinary skills each morning and put on one of the best english breakfast you could find. This was supported by fresh fruit each morning and choice of cereals etc - FANTASTIC!

Room Tip: Room 1 has a five foot double bed with some of the softest pillows you will find. The ensuite bathro...

We stayed in the large double room at The Barn for two nights. The welcome was warm and friendly and although we were staying within the owners own property, we were made very welcome.
The room was simply beautiful.....think Cath Kidston meets English country cottage. There were two double beds, a sitting area next to the pretty window and still plenty of room. There were fresh cut flowers, chocolate biscuits and fresh fruit. Everything had been thought of.....including a torch to help us navigate back from the pub!
The bathroom had a double jacuzzi bath which was a great treat. There was also superb power shower.
The breakfast was amazing, again, nothing was too much trouble.
The hosts were for us engaging, but not in an obtrusive way. Really very charming people.
We enjoyed ourselves very much and hope to return again soon.
Thank you Suzie and David.

Stayed before and after my daughter's wedding. Had three rooms in total for the wedding party and all were very comfortable. Everything was just perfect. I had to re-arranged rooms and times of breakfasts etc and the hosts took everything in their stride as well as looking after a couple of other guests from other weddings in the area.
Food was done to order exactly how we wanted it and I surprised myself by enjoying the stewed rhubarb. Could not fault anything and would not hesitate to stay again.

This is without a doubt the loveliest hotel / B&B I have ever stayed in. It could have not been any more perfect in any way. t
The house itself is beautiful, amazingly well looked after, with such a warm welcoming feel and extra comfy beds!! you will fall in love with Susie and Howard who are equally as charming as the house, with some awesome stories of their travelling to tell.

I could not recommend The Barn enoough, set in a small village surrounded by beautiful countryside, it is a perfect place to stay for a weekend break away.
My only hope is that we need to stay in that area of the country again so we can stay with there again, and make sure you have a yummy breakfast with their own free range eggs

Without doubt this is one of the loveliest places I've ever stayed in. Susie and Howard are wonderful and charming hosts and we were overwhelmed by the attention to detail. We stayed in the beautiful Shepherd's Hut which was cosy and comfortable. There were so many lovely touches: fresh fruit, KitKats, great range of teas and coffees, hairdryer, lots of lovely toiletries - even face wash which I've never seen even in the poshest hotel. The breakfast was extraordinary: delicious eggs from their own chickens, lovely bacon and sausages, fresh asparagus. Fresh fruit included pomegranate, raspberries and strawberries. Coffee was fantastic too. We walked straight from the B&B to join the South Downs Way just a short distance away and could not think of a nicer place to come back to at the end of a days walking. We walked to a pub in the village for dinner in the evening. Very very highly recommended!

Room Tip: Shepherd's Hut was certainly very special but the rooms in the house also looked lovely.
