Washington now has it's own community tea room, open week-ends and Bank holidays from 10:00-16:00 serving, breakfasts, light lunches, homemade cakes and snacks and freshly brewed tea and coffee.
I opted for a Washington Wonder in a roll, a locally produced pork sausage and very nice it was too, with a professional standard Americano coffee and under a fiver, all served by a smiling friendly young lady.
Well worth a visit, the tea room is located in the the refreshed small village hall, in this picturesque downland village.
