I found this course to be quite challenging. Although Mike L is correct in his summing of the first 5 holes or so, I personally didn't find it a detriment to my experience. The ground being uneven I personally enjoy as it adds challenges to successful drives and pitches. I would definitely recommend visiting and giving it a go. The clubhouse is very nicely laid out and the outdoor decking is stunning in good weather.

My only real niggle was that the pro shop was very basic for the size of the club.

Just celebrated a milestone birthday at the club, the staff were so helpful with all aspects of planning. They sorted the disco, food etc. Great place for a party as you have the large bar area, (patio off of it, if it's a Summer do!) then a disco room and a food area off of it, just perfect! The food was all freshly prepared by Olly and his team and was delicious! Maddie and Jack ran the bar for some very thirsty partygoers and just worked so hard. You also get the added bonus of a huge parking area. I would highly recommend this for any type of party/get together.Nothing was too much trouble.

Played here today, members club that allows visitors,
The first hole gives such promise, amazing looking hole, however you get up to the green and it end there. Disgusting looking green, patchy, not much grass. I gave them the benefit of the doubt hoping later greens were better... however they got worse. There were greens with tire marks across them, all the greens were patchy and bobbly... not good at all.

The course itself is very poorly designed. basically you just go up and down with 4 or 5 holes all lined up next to each other with a few trees in between. constant shouts of "Fore" are heard as the holes are too close together.

The fairways were just as bad, If you were lucky you landed on a patch of grass!! if not you were on a mud/grass mush!

The back nine gets slightly better, however the greens still do not improve.

If this was October/ November I would understand, however off the back of a good summer I would not expect the course to be in this condition. I would not recommend this course, we only paid £22 however even at this cheap rate it felt like a rip off for such a poorly maintained course

Good Morning Mike,
we are terribly sorry that you found the course to be difficult and patchy, which we completely understand. We have had very little rain in the past few months and have struggled to fend off the drypatch from the greens, unfortunately over the last week we have had torrential rain, which doesn't help matters when the ground is so dry. I would very much like to offer you a round of golf on the club if you would like to come back and give the course another try.
Please email us at info@westchiltgolf.co.uk with your name and we shall send a voucher right out to you.

Kind Regards,
West Chiltington Golf Club
