Bakehouse on Wentworth used to be a mandatory stopping point for us on our treks over the Mountains. I believe they have a chain of shops, well 2 or 3 other stores in the Mountains. Their pies especially were great and the bread excellent. Maybe it's the popularity of the place but it seems they have become a victim of their own success and they don't seem to bother too much about providing good service. It is hit and miss these days and with many other options available in the Upper Mountains people are looking elsewhere. The pies are still ok but forget the coffee. And here's a tip, if you choose to buy your pies and eat at the park, make sure you have some plastic plates and eating utensils and plenty of napkins... while the pies are good, they tend to fall apart very easily.
