We stayed for two nights after Christmas (two night minimum booking allowed at that time) but knew what to expect as we had been here three years before. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that the room appeared to have been re-decorated since our last stay and were clean and tidy, if a little basic, although there was a fridge, microwave and TV with DVD player. There are also free Laundry facilities. Upon chatting to the Relief Manager, he told us that there were new people in charge since our previous visit as the previous Manager wasn't the best and they seem to be trying to raise the standards of the Motel. The Air Conditioning was very good and the bed comfortable. Our only quibble was the amount of noise from the busy Highway that it is situated on and that the TV reception was very sensitive to the atmospheric conditions. One night when having watched most of a long film we missed the last ten minutes as the digital picture froze!

Room Tip: Difficult to avoid the traffic noise I'm afraid!

We stayed at this motel as we wanted a quick Sydney get away. I was not happy at all. The last minute special cost us $100 for the night which bought us a tiny room uncomfortable bed literally by the side of the road. The noise all night was incredible , the motel is right by the great western highway which has constant large truck traffic. The hotel staff were rude on the way in and on the way out. Save your money don't stay here or spend a bit more and stay elsewhere.

We booked this motel for an overnight stop as a last resort as accommodations were heavily booked. BUT, what a pleasant surprise. The ground floor room was split into 2 rooms (without a door) so was fairly large with a queen bed in one room and a single in the other. It was easy to find, spotless. & quiet (in spite of being on a main road) Easy walking distance to 2 good restaurants and a wonderfully stocked bottle shop. A well priced service station was across the road. A very convenient, comfortable overnighter. Would stay there again.

I had a room on the lower floor, whilst I could hear the traffic it was not an issue and did not keep me awake. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. I would not hesitate to stay another time. The fill-in managers were a delight and extremely helpful.

Room Tip: Possibly the ground floor is quieter than the 1st floor.

Outside lights need to be turned of sooner, the room was just too bright from the external light, blinds but no curtains. The taps in the bathroom did not have hot/cold on them, this I understand is a safety issue. All in all a nice place and would consider using it again some time,

The location of this motel is such that it's not really adjacent to the traditional Blue Mountains attractions. The night we stayed there the place seemed to be full of rail workers and sales reps. We were in the lower mountains for a christening and accommodation was required for my wife and I and our four year old grandson. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the family unit we were assigned - a comfortable queen sized bed and two singles in two rooms. The unit was immaculately clean and everything worked well. Service was friendly and efficient and despite the proximity to the Great Western Highway we were not bothered by traffic noise. If you, for some reason, want to stay in the lower mountains you could do a lot worse than stay here. We were charged $175 for one night - I thought this was a bit steep although we did have a two roomed unit. The only other carp I have would be the unavailability of a cooked breakfast though it appears that this lack might have been a temporary thing.

Room Tip: We stayed in Unit 4 and it was very nice
