Stayed in a spa courtyard room. Really couldnt fault the room except that it was really hot for some reason. I dont like to sleep with aircon on ( very unusual that we would have even needed this in winter) so we opened the 1 window and kept it open all night. This still didnt help. There was no top sheet on the bed ( yes very weird really) so about 2 hours afte we turned in i had to take the quilt out of the cover and use the cover as a sheet, this was much cooler. Doors banged all night (i noticed someone else had this issue as well ). I dont know why, there did seem to be staff quarters or something under us so this might be why. The checkin is the worst I have ever experienced. Room was not ready at 2pm, told to come back in 30 mins. When we came back 30 minutes later then were at least 30 people lining up to check in, all looking quite annoyed i must say. I am sorry but this is just unacceptable. Who has to line up to check in??? 2 staff on but they obviously need more when it is a sat night. I was not happy at all. When i got the key i was given no directins to room, no details about where to eat breakfast, no details about wifi, no pleasantires at all. Then we were given the room right next to reception, i did book only 2 night before we arrived so i must have gotten the last room. Bit annoyed considering i booked directly with the Hotel, not a cheaper website. Oh well the room was still nice. Very good gym and pool area. Nice breakfast. Just a warning that this ia a wedding venue that is obviously very popular. I would suggest they get all the attention ather the. Just regular guests. Because we had to have the window open all night we got to hear drunk wedding guests leaving in their cars at all hours, i guess this is not the hotels fault, but maybe they should have oarking for guests near the actual hotel and wedding guest parking down the back so when they leave they dont disturbe eveyone else. Overall very nice hotel but leaves a bitter aftertaste!

Room Tip: Do not accept room 1, it only had 1 window as it was next to reception so it had no natural night

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are currently working on introducing new processes in regards to controlling noise on the weekends, so hopefully we can minimise this problem for our guests. David

My partner booked this as a romantic getaway for us. Unfortunately it turned into a stressful weekend.
We were charged twice for the booking and still haven't been refunded the money. When booking it said that it included breakfast. During checkin we asked about breakfast, only to be informed that it was not included even after presenting our booking saying it was included. They tried to charge an extra $20 per person for it as well. Any early checkin before 2pm are an additional cost.
The card to the door continually malfunctioned, requiring us to visit reception to have if programmed again.
No directions were given on how to get to the room so we wondered around through the labyrinth layout trying to locate our room.
The room itself was tiny. The door opened just enough to get it. It hit the bed so we both had to squeeze in with our luggage and try closing the door behind us.
The wifi password provided failed to work as well.
On a positive note, the grounds are gorgeous. They are immaculate and very relaxing to walk around. The location is also easy to get to.
However overall, for $170 a night for a tiny room, it's not somewhere I will stay again. There are far nicer places around for the same cost.

We stayed 3 nights in a standard double room which was very satisfactory for our needs. The hotel is only 10 minutes walk from Windsor town centre along a path. The massage was great which can be had the hotel. The grounds are large so you can go for a stroll around the lake. We took the breakfast option with our room. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar and the meals were adequate, or you can go into town if you wish.

We stayed a night end of May and were keen to use Spa and Sauna.
The hotel is impressive and very new. Rooms were comfortable well designed.
The only draw back was that the Sauna was not working and couldn't be fixed because no maintenance people were around at night. That was a bit disappointing.
The pool and SPA area is open and not suitable for cold days. Luckily it was still quite warm for end of July.

Otherwise we enjoyed the stay and Windsor is really a nice little town not far from Sydney

Room Tip: don't take courtyard

I stayed at the Sebel for the better part of a week and was impressed some of the time but also disappointed. The team provided service that was pleasant and professional and the food was good. The room did have some wear and tear but was clean and well kept. The queue for check- in was just too long with one person at the desk and then I found that the key/card did not work and had to queue again. Strangely one of the lights in my room would turn on in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. The bed was comfortable but a blanket would have added some needed warmth. The hotel is set in a beautiful location but be prepared for some noise from the local air base. Small play park for the kids, a workout room for the Adults, and a nice indoor pool. Wifi Free but can be a little hit and miss with connecting. A nice place for a short getaway.
