We had a lunch of veggie frittata and salad. All food made with love and kindness (like family would do) - you can just tell, by meeting your hosts, Beryl and Kevin, who welcome you with open arms and hearts.
No factory made elements here.
Looking forward to revisiting for morning or afternoon tea of cake or scones. Teas are excellent: organic, loose leaf and generous serve (never sure why coffee lovers are spoilt and tea lovers miss out - not the here. both equally spoilt).
Do yourself a favour on your next country drive, and join Beryl and Kevin in their home.

We enjoyed our morning tea at Thelma's Retreat so much we decided to return that afternoon to stay the night. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, sparkling clean and blissfully quiet. Beryl was a great host and it was lovely to wander round her gardens admiring them.
A really lovely reasonably & priced place. We will return

We had a lovely meal here - late lunch/early dinner - after a day's walking to South Cape Bay. Beryl agreed to provide us with a late meal as we were not sure what time we would get back to this delightful place from Cockle Creek. Beautiful garden, lovely tea rooms, very friendly service & excellent food. We advised Beryl of our gluten free requirements when booking & they were able to accommodate this. They even arranged a new & delicious GF dessert. Thank you to the Miller family. Don't miss Thelma Retreat Wholefood Teahouse if you are in the area.

It is often difficult for people with special dietary needs to eat out and it was our pleasure to prepare a suitable meal for you to make your visit to our garden a happy memory.
