“Amazing day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 December 2013

The Long Lunch Tour was fantastic! Definitely worth doing!
Brad was a fantastic tour guide, he was clearly passionate about his job and had plenty of interesting facts and knowledge about the wine industry and the local area.
The tour itself was beautiful, Brad took us not only to some beautiful vineyards and wineries, but we also got to visit a strawberry farm and cheese factory, to help break up all of the wine drinking!
The lunch he provided was full of fresh, local produce and everything was absolutely delicious! Some of the best oysters and salmon Ive ever eaten!
I couldn't fault the tour and it was an all round fantastic day out!

“Amazing local and historical knowledge”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 November 2013

I am currently travelling around Tasmania with my husband and parents in law. We decided to do the tour to see some local areas and taste wine without having to think or have a designated driver. It was so much more than that. The guide was knowledgeably not only about local wine and lore but also the Australian wine industry in general. He kept all ages thoroughly entertained all day. The food was all local and very good. The wine was a wonderful surprise. We especially loved Springdale cellar door. Beautiful. Recommend very highly!

“Excellent wine, beautiful vistas, tasty food, entertaining conversation and an echidna”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 November 2013

My partner and I were lucky, our booking falling on a on a slow day and resulting in a private two person tour. Brad, our guide was clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the local area. The tour was well designed and well paced. Wine tastings were interspersed with meals of oysters, cheese, salmon, and other local produce, accompanied by stunning vistas and, in one instance, a visit from a peculiarly tame echidna. Brad proved to be excellent company throughout, expertly judging when to provide entertaining conversation and when to offer privacy. This was hands down the best tour we have taken and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

“A Never To Be Forgotten Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 October 2013

The Ultimate Long Lunch Tour was unbelievably good!!

From the outset dealing with Brad whilst organising the tour for a group of 6 was simple and an absolute pleasure with clear and timely communication.
The tour...WOW!!!

We have travelled the east coast of Tasmania before however nothing could have prepared us for the experience of seeing the majestic coast line, clear blue waters and amazing landscapes from a very comfortable chopper piloted by a knowledgeable pilot.

First stop, a landing on a headland at Kelvedon where a delectable devonshire tea was served on a table dressed in immaculate white linen followed by another short (mind blowing) flight over Oyster Bay and the Freycinet Peninsula to land at Spring Vale Vineyard where we were treated to the most informative, down to earth no BS explanation of the process and philosophies of the business and a tasting of their extremely palatable wines accompanied with matching canapés.

A short bus ride to a lunch of premium seafood at Milton Vineyard washed down with their superb Riesling and a chat with the very hospitable owners before the return overland flight to Hobart.

I have no doubt that the fantastic day our group experienced would not have been possible without the association Brad has with other quality businesses on the east coast of Tassie and their trust in Brad was apparent throughout the tour. The use of only local quality produce completed our Tassie Food and Wine experience.

Brad...A heartfelt thankyou from our group.

Looking forward to the next experience with Long Lunch.

Cheers.

“Highlight of the trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2013

Our tour guide Brad was like a walking encyclopedia but with passion. We had lessons in history, winery, wildlife and even property prices! To be served with delicious matching food to accompany the wine tasting was a brilliant touch. Just wait until you see the lunch spread!

This is by far the best wine tour that we have experienced. Good on you Brad!
