We took less than two hours drive from Hobart Airport to Curringa Farm.
It was totally worth it!
The road from the reception to the cottage can be rather steep so do drive carefully!
We arrived the reception with our keys hanging at their notice board. We took the keys and drove accordingly to the map which was given. It was probably a 2-3km drive.
The room was clean and beautiful. It does not come with an aircon but there was a heater provided. It can be pretty warm in the afternoon but there was a small fan beneath the sink. At night, it can be pretty cold. We stayed at Seaglenest but did not have the time to enjoy the soak tub as we only stayed for a night. :(
We ordered the BBQ dinner pack and the food was very nice! We grilled the beef and lamb at the outdoor BBQ pit and enjoyed the scenery while having our dinner. The only regret was not bringing a bottle of wine over!! :(
In the morning, we cooked bacon and eggs for breakfast. The kitchen was well stocked with cereal, coffee, tea, milk, juice, salt, pepper and many utensils!
Because of the outdoor nature, there were flying insects in the room but it did not dampen our mood.
It was a little disappointing not being able to get the sheep to knock on my door in the morning but i did take many pictures of the sheep while driving around the farm!
I would recommend staying for at least two nights at Curringa Farm.
This was an unforgettable farm stay!

We were exhilarated by how the sheeps welcomed us as we drove in from the reception. It was a joy seeing animals roam around freely as how they should be, naturally..

Totally capitivated by the views from anywhere in Curringa Farm, the entire stay had been very pleasant & memorable..

It was a delight to see WedgeTail Wings Cottage when we arrived. The cottage was in a spick and span condition, well-lit and extremely comfortable. Clean linen & towels were provided.

Barbequing food under the moonlight kept us warm in the cold night and we had so much fun!

We stayed in several houses in Melbourne before this & WedgeTail Wing has the best kitchen! We made yummy breakfast with what was provided in the cottage. Loved the combination of the fluffy bread and luscious jam..

In simple words, Wedgetail Wings Cottage spells bliss.

The farm tour on the next day was great fun too, enriching and relaxing. Tim was very willing to share with us.

We'll be back to Curringa Farm again and it'll be a longer stay for sure!

This is one of the most romantic experiences I have had. The privacy, scenery and the immaculate cabin were to die for. I can't remember what the cabin was called but it had so much style. Jane was lovely. Well worth the money

Room Tip: It was the cabin for two persons. Can remember the name but I'm sure Jane could help you

We stayed in Curringa Farm one night in late Sep. The Wedgetail Wings cottage is very very nice & Clean. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils, cutleries, pots, etc.

In Sep is very Cold and it is nice it comes with the fire place to warmup the cottage. The night stars are AMAZING. We can clearly see the milky way stars in the sky. Too bad I dont have a good camera to capture that.

We take up the farm tour the next day and my 2 young kidz are enjoying very much. Jane prepared us the scones and itz taste great !

This is one of the best stay we have in Tassie.

Double tumbsup

it was my mothers birthday and so we treated to her one night away to this beautiful little place in Hamilton. I have never stayed here before and so it was a treat for me too! cosy little fire, beautiful big spa, 2 separate rooms, free brekky, an awesome lake to go fishing in and so so much more! we caught 3 fish in under an hour! I wish we stayed longer! I'll definitely be coming back! Big thankyou to Tim and Jane for their warm welcome and kind hearts.
