“Nice walk down to the falls and drive through the countryside”
Reviewed 17 February 2014

The falls were a short drive off the road between St Helens and Launceston through very nice countryside. Whilst not the most spectacular, the falls were nice (and can be seen from the road at the top) and a fairly short walk through lovely tree ferns down to near the base of the falls. Not a difficult walk and worth a detour to see a different side of Tasmania (we had spent alot of time on the coast). Worth a visit if you're driving in the area or in St Helens.

“Easy walk”
Reviewed 10 February 2014

Lovely, short and easy walk. Nothing hugely spectacular but nice as a break from driving all day. Toilet facilities.

“Lovely walk”
Reviewed 9 February 2014

Easy, fairly short walk down to the viewing platform. There were a few people around when we arrived, however still had a feeling of isolation.
Waterfall itself was not spectacular, and the road in is windy. The toilets are well maintained.

“worth a look”
Reviewed 2 February 2014

Nice drive and fun on the way with an open dairy farm and a pub in a paddock. Easy to park a motorhome on arrival and a well maintained walking track.

“Easy walk to the falls”
Reviewed 2 February 2014 via mobile

After all the walking in Tasmania, I was pleasantly surprised that this is really a short walk to get to the falls. The walk was well defined and not too inclined. It was shady too. I liked the ferns we saw along the way.

This not a high waterfall that makes you go in awe but it is kind of different from other falls as it splits and joins up together again.
