We stayed for one night. We were able to checkin before 2pm. We stayed in the Hogarth Falls bungalow. Everything is very modern and very nice. One of the knobs on the heater in our room was broken from the previous nights guests, but the owners were already in the process of fixing this with an electrician on the way and they were very apologetic, It was fixed in no time at all! The owners were helpful in suggesting places to eat. The bungalows are a close drive to the town centre (bit far to walk though). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place! The place was very comfortable and cosy

Great 2 bedroom bungalow for $90! We couldn't fault the bungalows, apparently under new management, very friendly staff with great accommodation. Comfortable living room, spacious kitchen & bathrooms. If we find ourselves in Strahan again will definitely stay here!

My partner and I stayed in one of the 2 bedroom bungalows in June 2013. The bungalow was very well maintained, neat and tidy. The place was peaceful, the receptionist was lovely and the location to shops and activities were close....only downfall, in June there is not much that is open after 7 - only one resturant in the main street - however well worth the stop for dinner - meal was amazing! The kitchen in the bungalow was a great size and the price was fantastic! Definately would stay there again and would reccommend to anyone. Loved! :)

We stayed a one night here. The bungalow was very clean, modern and well maintained. Total cost for three people was $120, this represented excellent value for money, and the owners were warm, friendly and welcoming even though we arrived with no booking. The bungalows are quite close together, and sound travels easily through them, so if your neighbours have noisy children around you will certainly know about it. Despite this I would have no hesitation in recommending this venue based on price, comfort and service. Would definitely stay there again.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us, we appreciate it so much. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay but sorry you heard noise. All the glass is double glazed which helps keep warmth/ cold in as well as noise. We do leave all the windows a jar to allow for fresh air after we clean each bungalow. If these were still open it wouldn't have helped, we do apologize. However we hope all the good things will leave lasting positive memories for you. We hope you arrived back home safely.

We stayed in the Gordon river cabin for an overnight stay . This accommodation is one of the cleanest and well put together we have stayed in . Perfect for my Husband and I with my Grandmother and two young children.
It was nice to enter the cabin and even find the Portacot set up with nice warm linen and all...in other hotels its always been left in the corner ready for us to set up .
The price was the best in town for what we got I believe.
We will definetly book again if we are in strahan again and recommend to all of our friends and family.

My husband & I stayed 2 nights in the 1 bedroom bungalow in Prangley St. This bungalow, whilst further from all the tourist venues (but not too far), is in a quiet location, with no traffic noise. You even have your own little laundry out the back, with an undercover clothesline - what a great idea for the unpredictable Strahan weather!! We arrived in the morning, several hours before checkin time and were greated by a very friendly Sheree, who offered up a number of suggestions for us to fill in our time while she rushed through the cleaning of our cabin (which was ready in an hour).
Compared to the accommodation we stayed in on our first night in Strahan for the same price, and looking at the prices of other accommodation in Strahan, I would say that this is definitely the place to stay for value for money. One tip for Sheree - please put a rail in to hang the tea towel on!

Room Tip: If you only need 1 bedroom and you like your privacy, ask for the Prangley St Bungalow.

Stayed in the Gordon River Cabin for 3 nights. The Gordon River Cabin is a 2 bedroom cabin with a room divider in the 2nd, creating 2 and a half bedrooms. The main bedroom had a queen bed which was very comfy and fitted with an electric blanket. This cabin was large, very clean, modern, it had everything you would need. A large flat screen TV, kitchen, large bathroom with a great shower, plenty of hot water. This cabin was a little more private than the others, it sits on the corner of the property which consists of 5 cabins in total and has it's own private entrance. There is a café just a short walk toward the waterfront called Molly's, it has great takeaway or dine in food. The cabins are a little way out of the Strahan Wharf precinct, about a 15 min walk. One possible negative issue is this cabins sits on the corner of a road intersection, and there is a bit of morning traffic noise. Also there is no wireless internet at all which is a little disappointing. Overall I had a pleasant stay and have no hesitation in recommending this property.
