The farm is well signposted going south off the main road out of Swansea, Drive up the short hill and you'll be rewarded with lovely scenery. This business has grown dramatically over the last few years. It now has a better driveway which makes it easier for even more cars to reach the cafe. There are loads of non cherry related goods now and a 'rustic' cafe setting outside the main building. Of course, the berry season is the best time to visit for obvious reasons but then there's the traffic jam (excuse the pun!) up the driveway!! It must be difficult for the owners to know which way to go - demolish and start again - restrict cars and busses in busy periods. Not sure that Kate's Berry Farm deserves any accolades, now that it's grown like topsy - However, good luck to them.

We called in on our trip hoping to get some berry snacks but found most high priced goods, it was winter so we were not really interested in the Ice cream and although the Berry Jams sounded nice they were certainly tourist prices so we kept going.

Great range of jams, chocolates and frozen yoghurt and ice-cream. Fabulous view from the cafe. I would have liked the opportunity to buy some fresh berries.

Impressed Kate's food, jams and ice cream. So busy the service requires some patience but the staff and friendly, knowledgable and have Chinese sign posts and menus in dual language to help their customers enjoy the cafe. Can see why this cafe and producer has been in business for over 20 years. Worth a visit an hours drive from Hobart and 3min away from one of my favourite east coast accommodation at Rocky Hills Retreat. Always stop by Kate's berry farm when we are staying nearby.

Stopped by for morning tea. Crepes were nice. Agree that it seem touristy. No berries cant be seen. A small plot just infront of cafe but not in season when we went
