From the moment we walked into the cabin we were blown away. Positioned perfectly to take advantage of the magnificent view from the couch, verandah, bed, spa and shower.
The appliances in the kitchen were fabulous, the nespresso machine a bonus (as we didn't really want to leave to get a coffee in the morning). The massive bathroom with a double shower and heated floor (it was only May but very very cold) was a luxury. Sitting on the deck having a meal we cooked ourselves was just the escape we needed.
The wood stove did a fabulous job we didn't need the heating system when it did kick in.
Can't wait to go back in summer to use the hammock they provide.

Room Tip: None of the cabins have direct line of sight to other cabins, you could be the only ones there. The...

We arrived quite late. The owners had ensured we had a warm welcome by turning the heaters on. Lovely complimentary gifts. Beautiful spa. Woke up to the sunrise, magical. Highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway. Hosts ensured that the stay went smoothly. Would definitely stay again!

Our son and his partner treated us for a one night stay for our joint 70th birthdays which was a great present.
We have traveled over Woodbridge Hill many times and always admired the fantastic view, so it was great to be able to look at the stunning view of Bruny Island and take it all in from our room and deck. The cabins are a good size with the terrific use of local timbers and quality fittings and cosy log fire. There is more than ample tea, coffee and toiletries provided including fresh coffee also there was a generous breakfast provided including yogurt, serials, eggs and Boks smoke cured local bacon, along with fabulous complimentary local chocolates. The en-suite is fantastic with a beautiful hand crafted shower screen.
There is also a great swimming pool which is available to guest at no charge, but you may need to book your spot as it is also open to the public.
There is a self entry system to the cabins when you arrive, which gives the owners more free time, but it is a bit impersonal, we had no interaction with any staff and meeting people is as important to us as great accommodation and a stunning views, this being our only negative comment about the property although there was good communication from the owners when making the booking. Just hope our son treats us for two nights or more for our 80th birthdays.

Lovely and magnificent hide away set up like a luxurious batches or pad
Seated on top of the hill with lovely view of the ocean and Bruny Island and 15 mins to Bruny Island ferry
We stayed in celery top pine chalet which is the 1st in a row of four all equally spaced apart
There is a spa bath with 3 windows that give a commanding view of the ocean and Bruney island so lay back read a book any enjoy the view water temp can be controlled and they are Eco friendly about all things
Log fire is at hand for those cold nights two lounge chairs the decline into lazy boys and tele to watch or enjoy the outside view as the sun goes down.
Breakfast was part of our deal and this was a hot breakfast of bacon & eggs etc, you can also ask for them to leave a BBQ pack in the fridge at cost of $15.00 (meat only and bread) which you can then cook on the supplied BBQ on your own private veranda for dinner or lunch.
DVD, TV and stereo supplied
Bottle of local wines are kept in a pantry which are part of the mini fridge so you are pampered and you don't have to step out if you don't need to.
Our only problem was we didn't book a 2nd day as they were fully booked out
Heat towel racks and floor, double shower head so two can do what they want to leave that up to you.
This hideaway is well worth the dollars and the views.

Room Tip: Don't stay for one day as you will be disppointed

The views are lovely. The accommodation is clean and the decor is current and stylish. Everything you could possibly require is provided in order for you to use the cooking and BBQ facilities. The courtesy breakfast provisions were fabulous. Only a 5 min drive to Peppermint Bay if you wanted to go out for dinner. We will definitely return.

My son and his new wife had their wedding reception here last November. It consisted of a ceilidh and the family and friends did the catering themselves using the well equipped kitchen. On the day of the reception, two brand new giant shiny barbecues arrived for our use! The whole place is just amazing from top to toe...the location, the accommodation, the swimming pool and best of all, the staff who could not have been more friendly or helpful.
We also bought some beautiful glass pieces from Ruth Downham, the glass artist in residence as souvenirs for family and friends.
We will definitely be back some day even though we stay in the U.K.
Thanks to all the staff for such a wonderful and memorable time.

Room Tip: The master suite was so comfortable with an amazing view.

Absolutely loved every minute of our 2 night stay!! So beautiful and relaxing! The view and everything was amazing, especially the spa bath with the fold out windows! We will definitely be coming back in the near future! The only thing I could fault was the small TV and the lack of activities to do around the area. But all up it was outstanding!
