This is a collection of vintage cars in immaculate condition. Most are actually road registered. For a modest price I thought it was a lovely and unexpected treat. Well worth a look for vintage motoring fans.

There are two vehicles in this display that really caught my attention. One is a fully restored Model A Ford, the oldest Ford in Australia. The other is a fully restored Model K Ford, an incredibly rare and valuable specimen. Then there is the Model T Ford, a flat-8 Cadillac, a DeDion Bouton, and on and on. And let's not forget the replica of Henry Ford's first car, the 1896 Quadricycle.
Like all of the exhibits, these vehicles are running and wherever possible are road-registered. I was enthralled, and spent much more time here than my wife and children were happy with.
The collection is a retirement project gone nuts after a successful local businessman had to give up power-boat racing and went looking for a new hobby.
There are other things in the Exhibition Centre than old cars, but I didn't notice them, although my wife said the artworks were fabulous. My interest was with the cars ...
