“Very nice cabin”

The cabin was very nice for our needs, it is situated within 30 minutes of most Hocking Hills attractions which allowed us to go out in the morning return for lunch and go out again in the afternoon. Everything worked well except for the hot water in the kitchen, we ran the water but it did not get hot enough to really wash dishes. As a previous reviewer stated the dining room table was sticky and we used paper towels to set items on.
We had 4 dogs with us and they had a great time, resting in the cabin as the trails tired them out each day.

“Cozy place to stay!”
Reviewed 29 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

I stayed in this cabin for four nights with a small group of friends. It was the perfect place to relax after long days of hiking, kayaking, and horseback riding. Everything was clean (other than a slightly sticky kitchen table) and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit just outside, watched DVD's on the couch, and spent cool evenings in the screened-in hot tub.

If you stay here, make sure to play the dollar game!

“Great location for visiting the Hocking Hills area”
Reviewed 13 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Great location. The cabin was secluded but still close enough to everything. Other cabins are in the area but no one was right on top of you. Cabin was in good condition and the perfect size for our family of 4 (6 and 9 year old boys).
My criticisms are few. We couldn't get hot water in the kitchen, not a deal breaker but annoying. The master bathroom toilet is not properly installed and wobbled a lot, again, not a deal breaker but annoying. Lastly, the cleaning crew needs to get under the furniture, very dusty and dirty.
Something very cool about this cabin is the dollar game. If you rent it, make sure you read the cabin log book and play the game. Super fun.

“Perfect, relaxing cabin getaway!”
Reviewed 23 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

My boyfriend and I came down to Hocking Hills (for the first time) from Cleveland, Ohio. We absolutely LOVED our stay. The cabin was clean, cozy and had everything we could have needed. We brought our foster pup with us, and she absolutely loved it as well! (There were even dog treats, a dog toy and bed left for her!!) The cabin is very secluded.. we didn't hear or see one person during our stay. I highly recommend the Ridgeview cabin if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway! We plan on coming back soon! The trails are absolutely amazing as well- if you plan on staying, don't miss out on the beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls and caves.

“A welcome break from the hurly-burly of modern life”

We stayed in this cabin at the beginning of August for a couple of nights, and I wish we had stayed longer.

The location is very, very secluded. (We didn't see any other people during our stay). This makes this location perfect for those that value privacy and quiet.

Sequestered in picturesque woodland, the cabin is comfortably furnished and appointed. We did not feel it lacked for anything and were able to prepare meals easily in a well equipped kitchen.

Everything about our experience at Pointe of Nature Cabins- Ridgeview was Amazing. The area and location was breathtaking. The cabin was clean and had everything you can possibly need for a getaway to relax. The Hot Tub on the back deck over looking the woods was AWESOME ! We know that there are other cabins in the area , but we don't plan on looking for any others.. The worst part about it all, We had to leave.. This is our new home away from home.. Highly recommended to anyone looking to get away... Thank You Cheryl we will be home very soon ....
