For those who gave it anything more than 1 star, they must be cave dwellers. Painted over mold in the bathroom by the bathtub; cobwebs in most corners; in a non smoking room one of the comforters had a burn hole in it; the TV is maybe a 19", in the far corner; no telephone? really?; no clock--period; hallway carpet had more stains than clean spots; carpet in room is stained; room has a musty odor; wifi? not in this century; shower was so low you may need to be on your knees; the towels are made for hobbits--super thin, scratchy; ran out of hot water in less than 3 minutes; shampoo? think again; iron? you're kidding, right?; hair dryer? not happening; coffee maker, or even instant coffee packets? fugedaboutit; terrible lighting; the curtains were threadbare; I was in shock to find there were some cups in the room. The motif . . . motif? there is no motif. It has 1970 panelling and painted cement block walls. We stayed because everything is booked on Independance Day weekend, otherwise we would have demanded our money back. The room is worth $20 max.! Better hope you don't get the second floor, because elevators were apparently not invented yet. Take my word for it, the place is a dump.

Room Tip: Do not stay here.

The place was clean. The lady who runs it is very pleasant. Even read us the paper of events going on and helped us with mom and pop type restaurants. Was very easy to get on and off of the highway. Not like some of the exits that were totally backed up. No frills but the water was hot. The toilet paper soft! and the town was quaint.

Room Tip: The rooms with two beds were good sized. The single bed rooms were not as large. The last room on th...

This is a very nice mom and pop hotel. They even have the old fashion keys to your room. The rooms are small dorm like rooms. We stayed here for parents weekend at Ohio University and couldn't get a room closer to Athens then this. The hallway smelled of smoked but our room didn't. My only complaint was that the shower head was too low for me and I'm a average size guy. The price was half of the price you would pay for a room in Athens too.

The price was great, but the room was horrible. It was musty smelling, the AC was loaded with dust, the ceiling tiles were stained, the carpet was worn and looked dirty, and the lighting was poor. The bathroom was tiny. Not sure why we even stayed other than we were tired and it was late. I think I would have slept better in the car, at least the air would have been cleaner. Nice lady checks you in, but that is as nice as it gets. I do not recommend this hotel. Not a lot of choices in the area, but I think I would pay the higher price at the other motels located right off the interstate or move on.

P.S. the sheets did smell like bleach as others noted, but the mattress was pretty worn as were the pillows.

From the outside, the building looks in good repair, although the parking lot and crab grass are uninviting. Motel is situated between a Sheriffs office and City PD. The room walls are cinder block painted an institutional yellow. Some panelling. The furniture and fixtures are retro, original motel furniture from who knows when. 19" tube TV, worked good. The mattresses were clean, or at least not dingy, and no bugs. The room smelled clean, as did the linen, but I did find hair on the blankets and bathroom floor. Bathroom floor linoleum needs replaced. No fridge/coffee pot/micro/telephone/latch on door. Door lock is comparable to a push button bedroom door lock. There was an ice bucket, plenty of toilet paper, cups, and soap complimentary. 75 cent can pop in the lobby. We did end up having a quiet evening and restful night despite our original doubts. The AC worked great, a plus. We however would not return because I expect better quality for $80/night.

My husband and I stayed here during a recent trip to Ohio. The hotel itself is nothing special but it is clean, safe, and cheap. There's not alot of options for hotels in the area. Will most definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Logan.

If you want a clean, no frills, very economical place to sleep comfortably after a long day hiking in Hocking Hills. The woman who owns and operates lives in the Motel. There is a great restaurant just a short walk from the hotel in downtown Logan. The Logan Police station is right next door. Safe, clean, comfortable, and best of all the most inexpensive place to stay when enjoying hiking in the Hills. The Inn Towner is the place.
