We recently stayed in "The Trail" for a getaway weekend--we wanted clean, quiet, and secluded, and Cassady's provided all three. We could have easily gone the weekend without seeing another person, but the cabins were close enough to both town and the various tourist attractions to be convenient. The hot tub on the deck overlooking the forest was perfect, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The only real complaints were that the shower was a bit short, even for me at 5'7", and there was a bit too much scented stuff on hand for anyone with allergies to tolerate for long (a fairly easy fix). We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

From start to finish, our weekend getaway with two families was memorable. The cabin is very spacious (we had 9) but could easily fit more than stated. Bob was accommodating to us forgetting a few kitchen items as well as helpful to local attractions. He was also attentive the needs of our kids. It was very hot so we spent a lot of time enjoying the cabins amenities. The cabin was clean, fully stocked with necessities and convenient to grocery and attractions. Not to mention it was secluded and perfect for a rustic weekend. We cooked the entire weekend at the cabin with all working appliances and grill. Kids enjoyed fishing all weekend and use of the zip line. Looking forward to our next trip back.

The cabins were very clean and private. Outside deck had a hot tub and a t.v. with DirecTv. There was plently of pots, pans, glassware and dishes provided. Only downside was: the stove top couldn't boil water and the TV on the deck was old. The volume buttons didn't work so it was uber loud.. It was closely located to the areas attractions (Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave). Owner greeted us upon arrival and was very friendly. We enjoyed our anniversary trip and will def. be back with friends!

Just spent the past weekend at this beautiful cabin. Myself and 11 of my good friends wanted to get away to Hocking Hills for the weekend for some fun and relaxation. So many aspects of this place made it wonderful most notably the movie room, outdoor jacuzzi, huge fireplace and multiple rooms with huge flat screen televisions. Great kitchen nicely equipped with everything we needed to cook up a mess of food :) If you are looking for a great getaway with a larger group this is definitely the place for you.

My husband and I stayed in the trail for our third anniversary. We thought it was quaint, relaxing and met our needs perfectly. The cabin is nestled in the woods off of a gravel road on private property. It is perfectly secluded. The hot tub on the porch was clean and well maintained. The kitchen space was clean and all of the appliances were in working order. We did our cooking on the outdoor gas grill and the attached gas burner. There were plenty of towels and clean linens. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. There is also a private fire ring with provided firewood. It is not a fancy luxury cabin, but if you are looking for cabin with a few nice amenities and are trying to stay within a budget, this place is a great option.

Thought this would be a nice place to stay, but it definitely was not. The dude who took our money didn't even introduce himself, seemed confused about the money. We never met anyone named Cassidy. The Trail was the cabin we stayed in. Very dirty, definitely did NOT have a fully equipped kitchen like it said. The two top burner that it did have wouldn't even get hot enough to boil water! The toaster oven was so nasty and dirty we couldn't even use it. Instead we had to try to make lasagna in the dirty microwave oven. we assumed when they said fully equipped kitchen that included an oven. But no. just a two top burner that didn't work. Electricity shoddily run from their main house down to the cabins - electrical wiring EVERYWHERE along the ground, etc. The cabin was rather dirty, and the worst part is it was INFESTED with wasps. EVERYWHERE. We couldn't even sleep the first night, because we kept hearing wasps flying close to our heads. They were coming out of the curtains in the bedroom. They were coming from under the shoddily built platform bed. It was NOT a relaxing trip in any way because we spent 90% of our time in the cabin trying to kill wasps. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I have stayed in many cabins in Hocking, and this is by far the worst. It proves to me that you get what you pay for. If you pay a low rate, you get low rate service. I'd rather pay $180 a night somewhere else that is really nice.

We rented The View Cabin from Cassady's Hilltop. This Cabin is in a nice location, however, if you look at the pictures of this cabin online you will notice that no bathroom pictures exsist. I emailed and confirmed that the cabin did have a bathroom with a shower. What the owner ommited from this information is that the toilet is next to the queen size bed, and the shower is about 3 foot from the foot of the bed with a small sink and cabinet next to the shower. The bed was extremely uncomfprtable and the sheets were like sleeping on sandpaper. The cabin was surface clean, when I opened a cabinet looking for a bowl to use I found an oven mitt that was covered in mold. I went ahead and threw this in the garbage for them. So asside from the moldy mitten and of course the bathroom issue we had a great relaxing weekend and the cabin served it purpose for us.
