The cabin was beautiful and felt so homey we didn’t want to leave. It was in a secluded area and was private. Beth was easy to talk to and very helpful. Best vacation and if I return to Hocking Hills I will definitely stay at Honey Ridge again.
We loved our visit here ! Beth was a welcoming host. We had our two little ones and there was everything we needed ( but toys ) she even put up some child locks for us!
It’s super secluded and has no internet which turned out to be pretty neat !
Honey Ridge was the perfect place for us to spend a relaxing weekend. We only ever saw two cars drive by. Everything I forgot , they provided. There was obvious care and thought put into our comfort. We love to travel with our dogs and have one that can’t do stairs, and being a single story with ramp to the entrance it worked out wonderfully.
The cabin was clean with quality appliances and a great tub. 10/10 would go back.
Hocking Hills is quite a gem. Had great hikes. Enjoyed dinner at Cedar Falls.
Our dogs were welcomed and had a great time.
Only negative was driving on Goose Creek Road and seeing a few residence with debris on the lawn, and a Confederate Flag.
This adorable and very clean cabin is only minutes from Hocking Hills activities. The cabin was immaculate; any supple we wanted was available, plenty of cooking, serving and eating dishes. Lots of extras such as spices, coffee, teas, sugar and creamer. Appreciated the plastic storage dishes for leftovers while there. The cabin is on a secluded road where we walked many times. Very little traffic so very quiet. We enjoyed the gas stove for ambiance and to keep off the chill, through the cabin was plenty warm. We missed wifi - we couldn't look up things to do or hours for places we wanted to go. Overall, *****
My wife and I enjoyed our first anniversary at Honey Ridge Cabins. We wanted to bring our cat and dog, and the owners have very pet friendly rules. The cabin is on 22 acres, which my dog and I explored when we were not on the Hocking Hills trails or fishing the local creeks and rivers. The two main things my wife and I want from any cabin we rent is cleanliness and quietness, and Honey Ridge has both. Beth M was very helpful in giving recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails. We look forward to returning in the future. FYI, call Beth M before booking on TripAdvisor, it can save you some cash.
We found honey Ridge Cabin online after looking for years for a place that would allow 3 pets of any size to stay in! We have 3 dogs and have always wanted to take our fur kids on family vacation but never found anywhere that would accommodate an 80 pound black and his 2 smaller sisters...until now! The cabin is tucked away on a beautiful wooded property that gives you loads of area to walk your dogs around and get exercise. We stayed for 2 nights since this was our first time taking all 3 dogs, but I wish we could have stayed longer! It was still pretty cold out the 2 days we stayed (even snowing the last night) so we did not get to do many outdoor activities but we will definitely be coming back! The owners make it so easy to navigate Hocking Hills...they leave maps and detailed directions/phone numbers for any activity you could possibly want to do while in Hocking Hills! Also the kitchen is fully stocked with any pots/pans you could need...they even provide you with foil and basic seasonings/oil/tea bags etc. There is a full sized fridge in the cabin and a gas grill on the patio so you really never need to leave the cabin if you just want to get away and have peace and quiet! My FAVORITE part of this cabin was the Jacuzzi tub! It is HUGE! The jets were so relaxing and I could have stayed in it all weekend!
We were so pleasantly surprised at how accommodating Honey Ridge was and would recommend it to anyone looking for a secluded getaway with their family! Spike Luna and Lisa (my dogs) had so much fun on their first family vacation and we all cannot wait to come back...probably when it is a bit warmer so we can enjoy more of the outdoor activities! Thanks again to Beth and Chuck for being so hospitable!
