My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. If you looked up tranquility in the dictionary.....you would find The Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls. We were In one of the cabins; which was down home rustic with modern conveniences. Breakfast was absolutely scrumptious, something for everyone, and no reason to leave the property for dinner as the food at the Inn was fabulous! Ellen our innkeeper was always around making sure that her guests were happy. Wonderful place to escape to, especially knowing that there isn't any cell service or wifi in the cabins......just peacefulness. When you want or need cell/wifi service, it is available in the main lodge. I also enjoyed my facial at the Spa......we will go back!

This Inn is absolutely beautiful... so very serene!! We were there from Sept. 30-Oct. 2 with two close friends; we both stayed at cabins (Dogwood & Tree Top - great accommodations!).
Before we played some golf and enjoyed the colors of autumn, the ladies enjoyed an amazing facial massage.
In addition, the food is absolutely delectable and the staff was wonderful!!!
Many thanks for a wonderful stay and look forward to our next visit at this wonderful Inn.

Room Tip: The cabins are peaceful and are equipped with everything you can think of... just like home!!

How perfect, the guys enjoyed a round of golf, while the ladies rejuvenated at the spa. Sounds like nice time for friends to spend uninterrupted time together. Come back again soon.

During the past year, I've had two groups (10-20 folks each) for overnight retreats at the Inn at Cedar Falls. It was great. The accommodations are wonderful (great pillows), the food delicious (and served right on schedule by very kind people), the meeting room fully equipped, and the general site in the country is conducive to really getting away and focusing on the Bigger Thoughts. I'll be back whenever I can.

Room Tip: If you want ever greater privacy, ask about the cabins.

This is a beautiful place!! A great getaway to destress. Good for a quiet couple getaway as well as a friends getaway. Two girlfriends and I have rented the same cabin (Hickory Hollow) 7 years in a row. Every year we look forward to the quiet setting, tasty breakfast, awesome spa treatments, hiking the trails of Hocking Hills and just relaxing in the cabin or sitting the deck. They even have fresh made cookies waiting for you when you arrive in your room, cottage or cabin :)

They have a great fire pit area for evening fires plus hammocks and lawn chairs to spend some time reading a book or looking at the stars on a clear night.

We bring our own food to fix for lunch and dinner. The cabin has a refrigerator, oven/stove, and gas grill. The Inn Keepers and staff are friendly and helpful. Their gift shop is very nice too. We always leave relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated and look forward to our return.
We even reserve our dates for the next year when we check out.

If you entertain the thought of visiting during the winter months, I suggest that you do! Don't let the snow or cold keep you away!! My husband and I spent two nights at the Inn one February a few years ago. We arrived 2 days after a strong snow/ice storm had gone through the area. We hiked to Ash Falls and Cedar Falls. The ice sculptures that were created by the waterfalls were amazing!! Nature at it's finest :) The evening meal was as awesome as their breakfasts.

I finally had a chance to check out the Inn at Cedar Falls last weekend. I've been hearing and reading about the chef and the Inn and Spa since we arrived in Columbus five years ago. It was amazing - top to bottom! The food is delicious, the grounds are engaging and beautiful, the cabins are the perfect mix of rustic and well-appointed, the spa services were relaxing. We came in with high expectations and they were exceeded.

LOVED IT!! My husband and I visited to celebrate our 10th anniversary and were delighted. The food and service were impeccable and we can't wait to go back. Don't waste your time eating anywhere else. Every time a plate was set before me, it was the best food I'd ever tasted. We had reservations to eat at the Grouse Nest on our second night but loved the food at the Inn so much that we tried to squeeze in there instead. Although they were willing to serve us at 8:45, we declined since it was too late. Another one of the staff overheard our quandary and recommended a nice local restaurant nearby (The Ridge Inn) that was so homey I would have thought I was family!

We had a couples massage which was wonderful and very relaxing. We stayed in the Meadowlark room, which was very clean, homey, and quiet. Next time we will be spending a little more and staying in one of the cabins though.

The only suggestion I would make is that they spring for an espresso machine, as I love a good latte and had to travel to Laurelville to get one (The Ridge Inn again!).

Our only regret is that it took us 10 years to find this place... we will return again and again!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Meadowlark room but next time will spend a little more for a cabin.

Glad you experienced everything we have to offer...rooms, dining and spa. Trying a cottage or cabin next time is a great idea. Each one is different. As you discovered, dinner reservations will guarantee a place at dinner!

We had a short family holiday here recently, and we were really impressed by the inn. To begin with, I was impressed by the fact that the inn accepts children in the cabins, as it is really hard to find a nice place to stay in the Hocking Hills when you have kids.

We stayed in a cabin which was immaculately clean. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The rooms were roomy but cosy, the beds were comfortable, and the whole place was nicely furnished. The owners have obviously thought through what people might need very carefully. There were board games, a DVD player, and torches in case you stayed out late and needed to make your way down the lane in the dark. There were cosy robes and slippers. There was a peaceful porch and the living room looked out on the forest. The gardens at the inn were lovely. There was a lovely meditation garden and a well-tended rooftop garden with beautiful flowers and a swing. The breakfast was very nice, even if the portions were not huge.

The staff were extremely personable and helpful. We were welcomed by a lady who gave us tips on the best places to take kids. The waitresses at breakfast were very attentive too.

The inn is also hugely convenient for the sights of the Hocking Hills. I would strongly recommend it for any family holiday.
