We hosted my son's wedding reception at this venue with Dino's catering. I checked out several other venues before booking. This was hands down the best choice for us! Not only is the venue beautiful, the service and food were excellent! Kate, our coordinator, made the whole process easy from start to finish. I was actually surprised to see her there the night of the event, making sure that everything went smoothly all night long. For hors d'oeuvres, we choose the gourmet display. This is a no brainer! When my husband walked in and saw it, he said "wow, we did this?" It is truly impressive. We had a family style dinner. We choose chicken parmigiana, grilled flat iron steak, cavatelli, roasted potatoes and broccolini. Everything was delicious! There was plenty of food, and the extra food that was not served was boxed up and sent home with us at the end of the night. There were 145 guests, and we had plenty of room for dining and dancing. My night was made when, while dancing the mother-son dance, my son said, "We wished for an elegant wedding, and this is exactly what we wished for!"

This was a refreshing area to walk in after a day of shopping nearby. A mall is literally across the street! While we did visit here in April there isn't a lot of greenery here as of yet besides grass. There were plenty of bird and squirrels which was nice to see. There are many parts of this 155 acre park that are undergoing restoration. The southwest area of the park with Euclid Creek passing through it looks very dreary and had many muddy areas to it. The main area is paved and provides a nice scenic area to walk through winding pathways and see large houses with massive decks.

Acacia Reservation is a great place if you just want to take a walk. The paths are concrete or tarred while there are slight hills, most of the area is flat. People come alone, in pairs or groups, with babies and dogs.

Daughter's wedding on Presidents Day weekend was spectacular, not just because the weather turned out to to be delightful but the accommodations, food and especially the service were outstanding. Well done!

This is not a complicated walk but...it can be!

With the old club house behind you (now a for-rent party center with catering), there are basically only two ways to go: straight, with three paths that intertwine & cross with each other or left, which is one path, but down & up a nasty hill. It'll get your calf muscles moving for sure & I *highly* recommend NOT going that way when it's wet, snowing or icy out.

If you don't have time, you can do the loop in front of you in about 15-20 min (start at the cart path closest to the wood & hang a right & another right to take you back) If you're more adventurous, follow any path to see where it takes you. The map online is more detailed than the one at the beginning of the path (there are none on any of the paths)

Depending on what time of day or year, you will see wildlife, including deer, turtles, geese, cranes & yes, coyote. But if you don't bother them, they won't bother you.
