I love the restaurants where you go down the line and pick your own toppings and still get in and out quickly - besides the long line- Blaze was great for this ! Being my first time I got a signature pizza and added a few toppings. The whole mozzarella doesn't melt well but tastes great so I recommend adding more regular mozzarella cheese. It was perfectly cooked and tasted great ! A pizza is definitely big enough for 2 kids to share ! We will be back !

Great pizza in a chipotle or subway style manner. You make your pizza as you move down the line, and the pizza is fired in 180 seconds! The spicy red sauce will not disappoint. The crust is very thin and eating an entire pizza doesn't leave you stuffed. I suggest getting a layer of cheese added after the toppings, and make sure you get enough toppings to the crust edge. We'll definitely return!

Blaze pizza has thin crust pizza. Our family loves thin crust. Build your own pizza was a hit with our entire family. Only negative was the long line on Sunday afternoon (about 1pm). 17 people in line ahead of us. Took about 15 minutes to get to cash register. When we put our order in and got our drinks there were no available tables. One lady was sitting at a table for four while they were in line to place their order. We finally found a table. We did notice that the family of the lady sitting at the table for four paid for their order as we finished eating and got up to leave. Word of advice, please don't hold a table while waiting to order. Other patrons could be eating while you are in line and finished before you get your food. Pizza tastes great and the price is very reasonable.

A few months back, we read the article stating a new concept in pizza was coming to town. I hadn't heard of "Blaze Pizza" before, and couldn't help but think about the tough times facing yet another pizza shop in the Mason area. I heard good things from some of the folks at work, so we decided to visit one Sunday afternoon.

We were certainly not let down!

It's a fusion of a sandwich shop and an upscale pizzeria. Menu boards convenient, so even the first timer knows what to order and how to order it. You have a choice of one of their signature pizzas, or create your own. Each pizza is priced simply: Cheese pizza is $5. One topping is $5.85. Anything else is $6.95. No per-item charges, just a personal pizza for $5, $6, or $7. I like it already.

As you queue for placing your order, you see the dough master, tossing and forming fresh dough into perfect circles on an aluminum pizza pan.

Ordering is easy - give them your name, and ask for a signature pie or build your own. If you choose to build your own, you just follow your dough down the line answering the questions as you move down: What kind of sauce? (There are at least 4) Meats? Cheeses? Veggies? Seasonings? You yes/no your way down the line, pay for your pizza and by the time you have your drinks, your name is being called to pick up the most beautiful pizzas I've seen since we were in Italy.

The quality is supreme, the value is top-notch, and the atmosphere is really fun. Definitely recommended for lunches, dinners, or between meal snacks! Photos attached show the make table, and the restaurant dining area. Seating was also available outside, but we chose to people-watch inside instead. A++ Blaze. We'll be back!

Mason has the first Blaze Pizza to open in Ohio and we are thrilled. This is a whole different concept to the traditional chain type pizza joints. You can order one of eight Signature Pizzas (predetermined toppings) or Build Your Own Pizza with whatever you want. You move down an assembly line and first tell them what sauce you prefer. Then as you proceed down the line, you can have them put the type of cheese, meat, veggies you want on your pizza. If you would like a little more of one, just ask and they are happy to oblige. There is no limit to what you can have on your 11 inch thin crust pizza (only size available) for a mere $6.95. Same price for the Signature Pizzas. The pizza is then sent to a blazing hot open-flame 800 degree oven and fast-fired for 3 minutes. The end result was a wonderful, tasty delight that doesn’t drain your wallet. The neat thing about this concept is that you can “experiment” with different toppings each time you go and build a variety of pizzas to suit your taste buds. The atmosphere is very casual and all the personnel were friendly and helpful. You can either dine in or get carry out. The only drawback to our experience was that the noise level inside is on the high side. That, however, will not deter us from returning time and time again. We highly recommend this new restaurant.
