“Well worth the time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2013

Having been a member of the CNC for over 2 years, I find the miles and miles of trail to be relaxing, well maintained, and nicely staffed. Trails range from reasonably flat, good for small children and strollers to several trails with several hundred feet of elevation change and great for a cardio walk. The center offers educational activities for multiple age groups, night walks, and classes including identification, environmental concerns, and fun.
This is not a park to simply stop in and visit for a hour or so. Memberships are excellent and reasonable given the extent of offerings. For a day visit, go with the thought of staying a while. Make sure to speak with the staff for further information. They are well versed in the nature of their surroundings.

“Cincinnati Nature Center, a Pleasan Surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2013

If you desire a day smelling flowers, meandering through not terribly difficult trails, with everything from meadows to cliffs then the Cinci nature center is your style. I live in Cleveland and though it may have miles upon miles of parks nothing is comparable in such a defined limited area.

“Trails, nature exhibits and some history”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2013

We had not been to the Cincinnati Nature Center for several years and recently joined up for the year. If you like to be outdoors this place is awesome. The trails are well marked and well groomed, many having gravel beds. The trails allow for adult or child adventures. There are many ponds that always captivate the kids with all the frogs and turtles. The Playscape is an awesome way for children to experience play in a field with a brook, waterfall and many other play stations. Leashed dogs are allowed. So much to explore!

“Always a great place to visit!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 June 2013

I frequently visit two areas of CNC: Rowe Woods and Long Branch Farm. For quiet, undisturbed walks in nature, you must visit CNC. Both locations have a variety of habitats which attract much wildlife. Both are dog friendly and kid friendly. Rowe Woods has a visitor's center with maps and information easily accessible, and public bathrooms that are open from the outside even after the visitor center is closed. Visit Rowe Woods in March for the daffodils and you won't be disappointed. Long Branch farm is a little more rural, but the trails are great, especially early in the morning.

“Rowe Woods playscape and trails”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2013

We LOVED Rowe Woods. staying in Cincy for a "stay-cation" this year and wanted to do a few nature related activities. We had never been to Rowe Woods before, and went based on they have a kids area as well as a variety of trails. The kids playscape was awesome, no playground just nature. It included a water feature and log cabin, a digging area and several ares to explore. The trails were outstanding, and very beautiful. Some trails allow dogs on a leash (the playscape does not). the picnic areas and bathrooms (outhouse really) were all very clean. my only negative comment would be we saw dog poo on one of the trails. We stayed about 3.5 hrs
