I wouldn't really call Hershberger's a restaurant. It's an amazing farmer's market with food available to eat there and also to buy. Hershberger's has something for everyone who loves to eat! From homemade, sweet bakery treats to canned relishes, jams and jellies to noodles, Hershberger's has it all.
We typically visit in the late summer and fall. The mums and produce are always outstanding. We load up our car with goodies to take home. This year we just took a trip the early part of June and still, the hanging flower baskets, fruits and vegetables were phenomenal! I had for the first time one, well a few, cream filled donuts. They are the biggest, and best, I've ever eaten. They offer samples of many of their foods which is awesome.
Once your done sampling the great food, don't forget to go take a look at the animals. The goats on the roof are hysterical and love to eat too! You can also take a look at Big Ben, who I believe is the largest horse in the US. He's lovely, and yes, very big.
Millersburg is a lovely part of the country that's well worth visiting. You definitely need a couple of days to see the sights and enjoy the shopping and restaurants it has to offer.

Loved the great assortment of homemade cookies and fry pies. Tried to get picture of goats on the roof, but by the time we parked and made it there, they had all came down. Missed seeing the huge horse, but we will definitely return next time. The peanut butter sandwich cookies are to die for! Very good!

We bought bird feeders here, flowers and bakery items. Although there were buggy rides and animals to see, we did not visit that part of the farm. We stopped here twice on our short visit to Berlin.

We loved this place, the closest to Amish tradition. we showed up on customer appreciation day the staff was very friendly and outgoing. They had a back room that you could go to that offered many different samples of all the product that they had. We enjoyed the buggy ride, free horse rides. Even if it wasn't of customer appreciation day the horse rides and buggy rides are three and five dollars. If you are in the area this is a must See place.
