We have stayed here on numerous occasions and you won't find a nicer couple as your host and hostess. Carol and Herb Steffey are two of the most congenial people you will ever meet. The rooms and the cottages are immaculate. The nightly campfires are a time to unwind after a busy day and a chance to get to know other guests. If you go away from one of Carol's breakfast feast hungry there is something wrong for her baking and cooking is delicious. You won't make a mistake picking Garden Gate as your place to stay in Amish country.

Beautiful location and very nice rooms. They also have cottages/cabins available now. Inn keepers Herb and Carol Steffey always make you feel welcome and they are very helpful when it comes to planning your day in Amish country. By far our favorite place to stay! Make sure to take advantage of the evening campfire.

the b&b was clean, comfortable, quiet, and a great deal. when heading out into amish country, make certain that you have enough cash with you because not all businesses allow debit cards/credit cards.

Wonderful weekend Get - A - Way! Knowledgeable Innkeepers, learned a lot of the Amish life! Had a wonderful Birthday celebration with them! They made us feel very special and at home!! Highly Recommend them!

We have been to two of the Murder Mysteries and have enjoyed both of them-- a lot of laughter and "finger pointing"--all in fun, of course. It's fun to dress up because a person feels more like playing the part of that particular character, be it a snob, a thief, whatever is written into the script. The Innkeepers go out of their way to make it an enjoyable experience. The location of the B & B is excellent. The breakfast is very good with many food choices. It is served buffet style. The rooms are fairly small but the beds are extremely comfortable and after a long day of shopping, it is nice to crawl under the covers.
