Newer hotel or newly remodeled, rooms seemed clean and modern, beds were fairly comfy with a sort of mix between springy and plush, AC worked great and the free breakfast was pretty good. Seems like the location was pretty good as it is close to whatever you need in New Philadelphia.

Three friends biking the Ohio and Erie Canal stayed at this location for two nights. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Every time we passed they were always smiling and ready to answer any questions we had. The entire facility was very nicely decorated in bright colors. Breakfast/lounge area was large with comfortable chairs, sofa, tables for games, fireplace and a large TV. Breakfast had a large variety of hot/cold items and a pancake maker, in lieu of a waffle maker. A computer with internet with a large work space was available off the lobby.

This motel has four floors with stairs at either end and an elevator. We were able to bring our bikes into our room and still had plenty of room. Beds were very comfortable; Bath & Body products in the bathroom, good WiFi signal in room. Room had a thermostat which is a huge plus in my hotel stay experience! Workout room & indoor pool (water was nice and warm) were clean and brightly lit. Bistro 131 next door was doing a very good business both Fri/Sat evenings. There are other restaurants within walking distance (1/4 mi); nearest light does not have crosswalks, but we had no problem.

Observation-the person upstairs was a heavy walker and you certainly knew when they were moving about their room.

Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!

This was a free night for leisure travel, but I will try to evaluate like I went here for business.

Staff was polite, informative, and answered all my questions. I asked for a late checkout and was granted one. I asked for recommendations on where to get pizza and the staff had great options. Hotel is in decent shape but is starting to show it's age a bit, but this is true of all HIE over 5 years old. Parking was good, but I think it might get crowded here during a weekday. Pool area was clean and looked really well maintained. Wifi worked exceptionally well, probably the best of any HIE hotel I've stayed at.

For anyone looking for a cheap alternative to the expensive hotels in Sugarcreek/Berlin area I would stay here.

The beds could use an upgrade. Other than that, great property.

Room Tip: We had a king room suite with a frig and microwave.

Can't say enough good things about the entire staff, from the front desk, to the breakfast attendants, and especially the General Manager. Sure, the hotel itself is nearly brand new, spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. Hallways are roomy; even the stairways are carpeted!
Rooms are tastefully and well appointed , with comfortable beds , linens , pillows, and towels.
Having a nice Bistro right next door was also a real treat.
All that is nice and the location is convinient off the Interstate, but really , it's the cheerful service that really stands out here.
Try it, you'll like it!! We're going to stay there again for sure on our next trip up.

Great staff all around. Victoria checked us in pleasantly and efficiently. Spacious room, comfortable bed, pillows and towels. Filling breakfast ; the auto pancake machine is different and far easier and neater than the usual waffle machines. Very clean breakfast/ lounge area area with big screen TV, which was apparently a great spot to have a birthday party in the evening!
A new modern look throughout and only 3 years old. Easy access from Interstate and Right next door to Bistro 131 Restaurant, which is a REAL plus .

Room Tip: Rooms away from the elevator are extra quiet. The Bistro next door is a treat. Real good food, nice bar and good value, especially since you don't have to drive!
