Our stay in jogjakarta will be well remembered because of the very friendly people and the beautiful gardens in and around the hotel. The food was excellent even if the cook is not too confident about his skills. I recommend you try the Nasi Langgi which makes my mouth water as I write this review.

We booked 6 standard rooms via internet and turned out that all the rooms were in the separate location from the main hotel and facilities. They were located 400 meters away through local public road. Unluckily when we got there it was heavily raining and some of the rooms were leaked. Not long after that, the electricity was down and their generator did not have enough power to cover all these 6 rooms. It was a kiosk for my family. We then tried to talk to the receptionist and she nicely offered us to give a free upgrade to 3 deluxe room at no extra cost. My family still insisted to get 6 replaced room but according to her the hotel was full. She then did her best and was able to give us another deluxe room and made everybody happy.

Hotels need all maintenance..more
Especially on standard room

This hotel have 3 different area...which each other separated
1. Area of villa , this area only for villa, when i was check in..it rain heavily, umbrella take dominan role here.
2. Area of deluxe room , place cross of ROAD, with restaurant, it place cross of the villa area, so if you take breakfast, and you still sleepy. BE CAREFULL TO CROSS THE ROAD TO RESTAURANT
3. Area for standart room. Place about 1 km from 2 above. Far away from the main roads

Room service only till to 10pm.
I stay on standart room.. And it very difficult to take some food to eat...especially you dont bring your own car...far away.

A nice resort that's almost there in terms of providing high end accommodation - 80% of things are v. good but somethings (bathrooms - in particular the showers, bed linen looked 'well-used' etc.) still feel a bit cheap / rough around the edges

Overall we enjoyed the (limited) time we spent in the resort itself - i think we may have actually been the only guests as i never saw another person other than staff... The rooms are very spacious, clean and pleasant, food (breakfast) was good, service was also good.

However, as we were out and about sight seeing most of the time its location generally meant we were adding anything between 30-45 mins to the travel time needed to get, which was a bit of a pain to be honest.

If you're looking for a spot to hang out and relax it's a good choice. However, if you going to be out and about all day every day there may be other more convenient (and equally nice?) spots elsewhere.

I write this review on behalf of my parents (both over 80) who stayed at this hotel in December. The hotel arranged airport transfer and greeted them with a sign with their names on. My parents rented the hotel car for a competative rate and the guide showed the the temple nearby. As my parents, due to their age, need more attention that other hotel guest and they worried a bit whether they can stay there alone. The staff, however, made the trip an unforgettable experience for my parents. I can highly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed with our family in this very beautiful small resort for 2 nights. The villa's have old Java style and are situated in a beautiful garden with a lot of nature and water around. Only less good experience is the road which goes through the resort. But the hotel staff is very willing to help you. Generally, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is bit limited. The hotel is really very beautiful, but take care when you are a bit tall, as all door entrances are bit low. There are nice old Java style music instruments and one night there was a performance by a local family, and our kids were asked to join. There were not any other guests, which was pity, because this little secret deserves to have much more guests.

booked this place for four days , with wiedy ( local tour guide - google him for contact details ) helping us get around .

We were worried we should have gone for a hotel in borbodur or jogyakarta, but actually this place was spot on . Good rates, lovely villas, a bit out of the way in the hills, but only half an hour in the car ( which you need anyway to see the temples at boro, prambanan, mendut, plaosan, merap volc ,jogya etc ) . We also went for quite a few stroles through the local villages , on our own , walking through paddy fields, beside oxen tilling soil and ponds for farmed fish , peppers and utobacco growing etc . Fantastic to see the real thing and everyone was friendly - no hatsle, no begging, no worries about wild natives and bugs - charming area full of charming people - a great complement to the temples and old stuff .

The hotel food was generally good, if a bit deep fried in nature across the menu . Don't ever order the wine - it cost $50 usd a bottle and isn't kept properly , so tastes like gasoline . We felt sorry for the staff so we drank and paid for our bottle of disgusting red, but we didn't make that mistake twice

an excellent choice overall , with a great pool also which was always pretty empty of people, so felt like a private pool for us ,
