“Very Nice Rooms!! Bungelows are a little small though.”
Reviewed 30 June 2010

My now Husband and I stayed here the night before our wedding and the day of our wedding! The rooms are clean and the most modern that i've seen on the island. The only down fall was that the room was really small! It was so quite that you didn't hear your neighbors or any of the drunks late at night!
They have golf cart rentals on site! Depending on specials they're running you might even get it for free! Linda and Denny were so nice!

Was wanting to spend 1 night in Put In Bay with 3 other buddies for a 'Guys" weekend while the wives went to Florida. Upon looking at various web pages, no one allowed 1 night bookings, and all demanded 2 or more. Upon calling in a favor from a cousin to whom knew the owner, it just happened they had a suite for one night available. All of us, took off from NW Catawba Marina,as this is where my cousin keeps his boat. All of got on and took a nice boat ride and ended up docking at The Boardwalk. Had a nice lunch and beverages, and got back to the boat, grabbed our carryons and walked no more than 3 blocks to the Suites. Denny and his wife have a very nice, homey business going on here. Will do anything for you and just overall class acts. The rooms are new, a/c works wonderful, and very close, maybe within 150 feet to Mr. Eds, and another hotels party pools.Grills are even provided to you if you want. A store is no more than around the corner for your party needs. All the items you will need are provided, plenty of towels, and very, very clean. Upon our leaving, Denny even took us to the Jet express in on of his golf carts. He does have carts to rent if needed.. Just an overall great time, with classy people. Thanks again, and would stay here again for sure.

We stayed at Harriet's House in PIB Jully 5-8 and would recommend it for many reasons. Linda and Denny were great hosts, the house is an easy walk to the main drag, we had access to 5 pools, including the new Splash swim-up bar (don't miss that!) right next door!
The place was spotless, it has a bath and a half with 2 showers in one bathroom. It sleeps 10, we stayed during the week, so the rate was $200/nt as compared to $165 at the resorts. There is a grocery store around the corner as well as a microbrewery. I would recommend the lobster bisque at the Boardwalk, great seating on the water and a fun band!
Perry's Cave was pretty good, the gem-mining was fun! The winery tour wasn't much, I would skip the Crystal Cave tour, especially if you are claustrophobic...too cramped! The wine is good though and worth tasting. The monument is closed for repairs, but is nice to look at. We had a good time, but there isn't enough to do to stay busy for more than a couple of days. Lots of little shops and bars though, and riding around in golf carts was a hoot, but be warned...you can get a DUI driving a golf cart!
