Be prepared to walk a good distance before you see anything really interesting like the actual rock bridge, which the town of Rockbridge is named. I lived in Rockbridge for about two years before hiking this trail because people told me it wasn't a "must see",. Go if it's a nice day and you have already seen Conkles and Old Man's Cave.

Most hidden of all the trails. Most people never take this trail when in Hocking Hills, some don't even know it exists. First part of the hike is boring because about 200 yards of it is through a grass field. Parking is for about 4-5 cars but like I said its normally empty. In general the rock bridge is what it is (natural rock bridge) and its unique for Ohio. No restrooms here. No crowds.

This is a lovely little hike from At Boulder's Edge cabins. The fall colors were amazing. Make sure you do the loop on the way back by turning right on the little wooden bridge. We missed this turn and walked back the same path to and from the natural rock bridge.

this site has a natural stone arch (bridge) which was formed thousands of years ago...its about a 25 minute hike from the parking lot to the bridge, but its well worth it...walk across (its a little narrow), but it makes a good photo op...

Once we got past the idea that it felt like we were walking in someone's backyard for a while, we had a nice hike to the largest natural rock bridge in the state - at almost 100 feet long and between 10-20 feet wide. Make sure to memorize the map at the entrance to the park - there is only one sign for the bridge once you are on the trail, and you have to make a few turns on the trail before you even see it.

Once we found the rock bridge, we walked across it and looked down. There were a couple of small waterfalls - probably would have been amazing if there was more rain recently. After walking around and taking some pictures, my sister noticed that someone was down below the bridge. We quickly found out that there was another part to the trail, just past the bridge, that you can use to walk below.

Overall, it was a fun trip - maybe 1 mile in total. You do have to walk uphill at some points along the trail, and there are no safety guards in place on the bridge, so keep all that in mind when planning.
