We have been visiting this park for several years and this is one of our favorite places to bring the RV. Concrete pads that are usually level. We have satellite, but here you can hook up to cable as well ! (Of course you don't watch any tv with the amusement park next door) Walking distance to the park, and early entry. Far less expensive than staying at one of the hotels on the property (but more $ than most RV parks) Clean and well maintained. The pool in the campground is a great way to escape from the crowds during the middle of the day. Over the winter of 2014 Cedar Fair invested $ in a new and bigger camp store (with walk in cooler) and the reception area is larger so you won't have to stand outside in the rain waiting to check in ! I was not pleased to see that all of the old, electric only, sites were replaced with cabins. Fewer places for the RV !!!! Eat at the restaurants that are on the property but OUTSIDE the park, unless you don't care about money. We like Famous Dave's.

The shuttle service is usually good, but sometimes a very long wait for that morning pick up when you are trying to take advantage of early entry and ride the Millenium. Wonder if a scheduled shuttle route might help, at least during the hour before opening ? If Cedar Fair really wants to make campers happy - open up a park entrance near the overflow RV parking area (next to check in) that would take you into the park near Frontier Town !!!!

This year was our 3rd Annual trip to Cedar Point, usually we stay at Breakers Hotel but this year decided to try the cabins. I don't think I'll ever go back to staying at the Hotel. Although the hotel is nice I really enjoyed the cabin, I felt we had much more room and the private bedroom was much better than the pull out couch I've slept on the past two years. I loved having the BBQ and picnic table right outside our door!! I didn't spend a penny on food there, we used the BBQ every night and even for breakfast. Very easy access to the park entrance, early entry is always a plus. It's was also nice when we needed a bag of ice it was available in the store right on the property. Overall great place to stay and I can't wait to come back and do it all again next year!!!

My friend recommended Lighthouse Point cottages and i was so impressed. I had my husband and 3 kids. We were able to make lunches and hang out at intervals from the park. It was great. We loved looking out on the water. The pool was too cold, but the kids loved it. I do with that they had better amenities in the room. No hair dryer and no shampoo was no good. Also, extra towels would have been great. Overall a very wonderful experience and I would stay there again as a splurge. I felt it was tons of money to stay there. We spent $900 for our family of 5 with a 2 day pass. :(

Room Tip: We loved the cottages on the water. They were perfect for a family of 5. Also, bring your own charc...

Thank you for the five star review of Lighthouse Point. I apologize there was no shampoo in your cabin as that should have been provided. Extra towels are available, just let us know and we can take care of it for you.

I had a great time in the cabin. It was clean and beautiful. They are located right outside of cedar point. Only about a two minute walk to both cedar point and soak city. My only issue was the mosquitoes at night. As long as you pack bug spray you should be fine!

Thank you for staying with us. While we normally don't have too many mosquitoes, you may have seen Muffleheads. Luckily they don't bite.

The cottages at Lighthouse point are a perfect place to stay. They are very well maintained and perfectly situated close to the park. The kitchenette is great for a light breakfast or late night snack. We had fun sitting around the table playing cards after a day in the park.

The new deluxe cabins are beautiful and functional. Our family of seven was very comfortable. The two full baths made it easy - especially with 4 teens. There were plenty of towels, and well stocked with bedding and pillows. Lots of space in the kitchenette for snacks, etc. We did not cook, but the grill was right outside. Very pleased with the convenient location...so easy to go back and forth to the park. Staying two nights with the 2 day ride and slide package was perfect. We will be back!

I travelled with a group of 14 college students, and we decided to stop at Cedar Point for the day. The cabins actually saved us money over any other hotel options. We grilled out for dinner together and had a terrific time overall.

Early entry was a wonderful perk - we hit 4 major coasters with no wait before anything opened. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay there an extra night.

I personally had one of the cabins, and the deck overlooking the water was worth the price. The management was also very responsive and helpful.

Keep in mind that the office closes, though, so make sure you have a spare key just in case...

Room Tip: The cottages on the water have great decks that overlook the water.

Thank you for choosing Lighthouse Point for your group! While the office is closed overnight, there is a 24 hour desk at the nearby Sandcastle Suites and they can help you with any concerns. We appreciate your business.
