Just stayed one night in a combo suite, rooms 3634/3636 and I got bit 6 times on my arm. When we got home and started unpacking we found 2 bed bugs in our luggage. We don't travel. This was our only vacation this year.
The place is starting to show its age. There were toenail clippings and a piece of a candy wrapper in front of the couch. The bathroom ceiling had a large mold spot on it from what appears to have been a leak from the room above. It was about a foot long and 1 and a half feet wide. Our smoke detector also went off for no reason. It was embarrassing. The security guard they sent made me feel like we did something wrong.
I love Kalahari, but this will be our last time going. The place is getting too run down, the cleaning staff barely cleans anything, and I don't like getting bit. Considering how expensive this place is they really need to do better.More
