We were unaware of this restaurant until we received a coupon. It is located in a small strip shopping center near the large Franklin Park Mall. It looked small to us from the outside, but really seemed quite large once we got in. My wife and I had a nice table in the corner with a great view of the restaurant layout and activities. We both had the Caramelize French Onion Soup and found it to be quite good -- a bit sweet tasting and less salty than what you typically find. My wife had a a BLT Wrap which she found much to her liking. I had Meatloaf (see photo) which was heavily garnished with baked shredded carrots & asparagus -- very good. Or waiter, Griffin, was very attentive, pleasant, and knowledgeable of the menu. The only downside for us was the high ambient noise level, probably due to all the hard surfaces.

I've been in here several times and still consider it the best burger ever! I love the order form you fill out that gives you many options for buns (or no bun), over a dozen cheese choices, many many topings and of course lots of things like fried egg, great mushrooms, etc. It's great for a family gathering, evening with friends or taking the grand kids out for a burger. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful and the surroundings clean. If you want a fancy restaurant with linens and candles on the table this is not the place. If you want one of the best burgers you've ever had, give it a try.

I met some family at Bar 145 on a Tuesday around 6:00 and we couldn't have had a more pleasant experience! We sat outside on their beautiful patio that felt like we were still part of the indoor experience. Very unique how they brought the inside out here. The only improvement they could possibly do would be to add background music. But wait! Later they had a live acoustic musician so the ambiance was complete. The service was outstanding as was the food. Since it was happy hour the waiter suggested an "Angry Bird" cocktail that was half off for $4. A slightly tart green apple kind of taste that was deep in flavor garnished with fresh mint! We also enjoyed a flat bread, salads and made to order sandwiches that were all really fresh and delicious! Bar 145 is always a great choice and we'll continue to come back again and again. If you have a chance, try the patio. We loved it!

Great staff, great food, and great involvement in the community. Always something new and tasty. I love their menu but they always have something special offered not on the menu. Good drinks too.

We went for lunch and enjoyed making our own burgers. They have quite a few choices, including a delicious pretzel bun, that are aren't your everyday burger choices. They are a little on the pricey side though. We weren't there when live music was on, but I think it would be a fun atmosphere to go along with the great food and will have to go back to try it.
