“Average tasting bar food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2013 via mobile

We stopped in for appetizers and drinks during happy hour. I had a Long Island Iced Tea that didn't taste good and had little to no alcohol in it. We ordered wings that tasted less than average, and the chicken & bacon flatbread that tasted good. As we were leaving we decided that we would not return to Champps again because there are better restaurants to eat at in the area.

“Great for beer or a game”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2013

This place isn't quite sure what it wants to be... Sports bar? Restaurant? Neighborhood pub? it definitely has an identity crisis, but thats really all thats wrong with it!

Our server was a lot of fun after the initial contact. I was a little worried and started to believe the other reviews, but she turned out to be pretty awesome! They have their own rewards card, that gives you a free burger when you sign up! I think that might have made her grumpy at first, but like i said she was excited about it later. So i got the burger, and it was pretty massive! Filled me up no problem. The fries were decent as well.

Now i will agree that the food is a little overly salted here... on kind of everything... if thats a problem, i'd state no salt up front. The food came out in a decent manner... It wasn't quick, but again, for a sit down restaurant, it was less than 20 minutes. The drinks were strong, and good. They have tons of beers on tap, and even more tv screens if you're wanting to catch a game. All in all, not a bad little place!

“Nice TV's!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 January 2013

We've gone here during game times. They have LARGE tv's, so no matter where you sit, you've got a great view. There are lots of food choices and everyone is sure to find something to eat. Great friendly service, too!

“Some good menu items”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 January 2013

We go here because they are open really late. I do catering and it can be hard to find somewhere to eat other than BK or Waffles. Late night it can be sparse and quiet but otherwise it can be really loud and noisy. My husband likes all the beer on tap choices, he has sent some back though complaining of a sour taste. Not sure they are cleaning their equipment thoroughly. Some dishes I have loved they have changed and they are no longer my fave. So far the turkey club is still a huge sandwich for the $ and I like the homemade chips. Their cheesecake is good and the mile high ice cream cake is eye popping, better share with a friend. Prices can be a little up there.

“Quick dinner”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 October 2012

We stopped in for a quick dinner and to watch the game. Service was okay. It was a Monday night, but there were quite a few diners who got pretty slow service. Thankfully, no one seemed to be in a big hurry.
