Jerry, Paula, and Levi are wonderful. If you can not relax here, you never will. We sat in front of a soy bean field at evening time and watched 17 deer frolic and feed in the field. We ate gourmet quality food and drink. We soaked in the rolling hills and imagined we were in Utopia. It felt like simpler times when life was not measured by quantity but quality. We left social media, TV and news behind and enjoyed life for life's sake. If you do not like Levi....you are a Grinch!

My husband and I, along with another couple stayed at the Inn August 8-10, to celebrate our birthdays. What a wonderful weekend we had!
The setting was gorgeous, with rolling hills and wide open spaces. The inn was so incredibly comfortable, and the inn keepers and staff treated us like royalty. We wanted for nothing.
The food was all prepared right there in the kitchen and it was equal to a five star restaurant. The breakfast is included with the price of the room and it was fantastic! And dinner was just as wonderful.
We sat on their beautiful patio, relaxing and sharing a glass of wine each evening until after dark and the staff continued to pamper each guest . And then we moved out to the fire pit that had been tended all evening, and sat under the stars and listened to the tree frogs and crickets. It was heavenly.
We were fortunate enough to interact with a baby fawn, that had been orphaned and was being fed by the Inn keepers. What a thrill.
We can't wait to go back. Thank you everyone at Murphin Ridge Inn

Room Tip: Lower level so you don't have to carry luggage up the stairs. You will have a nice porch with ro...

Great place to relax and get away. My husband and I stayed in a cabin for two nights. They thought of everything, wine opener, wine glasses, ice in the bucket and cookies on arrival! The cabin was beautiful exceeded our expectations. Had a fantastic diner, then sat at the fire pit. It was so beautiful and peaceful. All staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Jerry and Paula were so pleasant and fun to be with. We will definitely be back!

I took my 94 year old mother here for 2 nights. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. I can't thank them enough for their friendly happy nature.

The surrounding area was so peaceful and in driving around, we saw Amish farms and stores. there was antiquing and Serpent Mound, state park.. All of this was less than a 2hour drive from Cincinnati.

The chef, Adam was amazing and the outdoor pizza oven, all I can say, you must try it!

Room Tip: Cabins are peaceful, but geared towards couples. Rooms in the guest house are accommodating and may...

My wife & I stayed in one of the cabins and had a great time. We had a fabulous dinner with some wine and then sat with other guests by the bonfire for some good conversation. If you are looking to get away to some piece & quiet, this is definitely the place.

Room Tip: Cabins 7-9 are more secluded and private.

My husband and I stayed here on our last night of our honeymoon as we traveled from Virginia back to Missouri. The friendly staff more than accommodated us as we had to change our reservations and ended up arriving earlier than we thought. The chef stayed late and made the most delicious fried chicken dinner we had ever tasted and they offered us drinks to take to the room as well as having the champagne and chocolate covered strawberries already in the room waiting for us and they were scrumptious! The room, Cabin 7, was even better than the pictures and description online. We enjoyed a quiet peaceful night relaxing in the hot tub with a view of the woods in front of us out of the sliding doors. We sat on porch rockers and sipped champagne. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and just enough to fill us up for our car ride home. We will definitely be visitng again and bringing some family with us to stay in
the inn. The atmosphere is perfect for a group looking to travel on a getaway together. There is a swimming pool and firepit on the grounds and a community room with games and tv/dvd player for a group to share. We can't wait to return and enjoy another relaxing getaway!

I spent 3 nights at Murphin Ridge in early June and just now getting to writing the review. It was amazing. Great, quiet location, excellent food (we were able to purchase lunches as we were there for a group function -- the lunches were as great as the breakfasts and lunches!), great hiking trails, wonderful fire pit. A great place to get away, and outstanding service. Will definitely return with my husband in the future!
