Spent a night at the Super 8 Westlake a couple weeks ago. It's about 15 minutes from Cleveland at the end of a strange little curvy road.
The hotel is not very memorable, except that there were a couple things in my room in disrepair. I propped up a pillow on the bed and sat back to watch a little TV and as soon as I did the headboard came detached from the wall. I had to prop it back up onto the screws. There was some coffee & tea, but no shampoo or soap to speak of. There was a nice little table and a chair, but no outlet within 10 feet for a laptop, so I had to do a little re-arranging. I understand that some hotels were built before we needed plugs for our phones and laptops - but it would be nice to have a plug or 2 near the desk.
Breakfast was a couple cereal options, yogurt, donuts, muffins, juice and coffee. About what you'd expect.
In the end, I have to compare it to the Red Roof Inn Middleburg Heights and I'd take this hotel over that. it's a little closer to the city, or at least it seemed to be, and a little cleaner. I'll likely shop for something different next time, but would stay here again without much problem.
