Wonderfully restored home within walking distance of down town, shops and restaurants. Meticulously clean with the most amazing breakfast served every morning at 9 am. Inn keepers are ready to tend to all your needs, even doctor's appointments.

Chose this B&B on the internet as a place to meet our close friends and spend a couple of days touring the Amish countryside. Are we glad we did! A very comfortable place to "come home to" each evening. We stayed in the Lincoln room and enjoyed it. It had ample room to sit and chat with our friends each evening. Even enjoyed the small balcony off the room and over the front porch...despite the cool early fall evening. The meals were outstanding. The scones were the best I've ever tasted. The owners pay careful attention to not repeat meals for those who come back to stay another time. This is only one example of their attention to detail. We'll be recommending it to any traveling in the area.

Room Tip: Heard no negative comments from guests in any of the rooms.

We've stayed at 20+ b&b's all over the continent and rate this at the top. First, the Churchmacks (proprietors) know how to treat guests - who wants attention, who wants privacy, who falls in-between. And they know the town & area, are helpful guides on where to eat, what to do, etc. Second, the location is the prime spot in Wooster (a very nice little town for exploring). Third, the breakfasts are exceptional and not to be missed (even if you're not a regular breakfast eater.) And fourth, the architecture and restoration are stunning.

The centerpiece of our trip was the Ohio Light Opera, an easy 15 minute walk from the Inn. Jayne was very helpful in obtaining tickets and made the whole experience pleasant.

Let me add one plug: eat a meal at Matsos in town. Great pizza, great Greek food, and a colorful spot with a local legend as owner. You will know what I mean as soon as you enter.

My wife and I found this B&B on the internet and decided to spend our anniversary there. Everything is within walking distance; food, shopping, etc. The inn was beautiful and the Churchmack's, the innkeepers, were wonderful. The food at breakfast was one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had. The ham cups are to die for and so are the fresh homemade scones. We will definitely make plans to return next year!!!!! Bravo!

In Wooster for College of Wooster-related activities, we stayed at the Market Street Inn for two nights. The house, built by a wealthy business executive in 1897, has remarkable woodwork and is a joy to see (including the dragon at the roof's peak). We also enjoyed the husband-and-wife team who run the Inn. The breakfasts were creative and tasty and the breakfast conversation with the proprietors and other guests kept us at the breakfast table much longer than we would have imagined. And, for College of Wooster or central Wooster activities, including some excellent restaurants, the location is convenient. We highly recommend a stay here.

Stayed here enroute to Berlin Ohio. We picked this particular B&B due to the architecture and great ratings on tripadvisor. My wife loves old Victorian Mansions and this was my treat to her.

Getting there - the house was very easy to find and is located right in the middle of this small town like many Victorians are. Our first impressions were of awe and excitement as it really is an impressive structure

There was ample parking in the rear and the main entrance is a work of art with loads of well maintained woodwork and hardwood floors with plenty of inlayed designs. There's a quiet sitting room and a great looking library. Breakfast was just off the foyer in a cozy dining area. Our room was the Lincoln in the front of the house with the turret. We loved the sitting area and had supper and morning coffee out on the adjoining private terrace, watching the passersby. There was additional air conditioning so we were very comfortable in the humid summer heat. We had a private bath, but it was down the hall which we didn't mind at all. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good sleep although there is some road noise in this room.

The hosts were very wonderful and provided coffee in a quaint little antique cabinet just outside our door which we really liked. The breakfasts cater to those of a fancier pallet although they do take requests ahead of time and try to accomodate. Personally I prefer straight bacon and eggs in the morning and save the more creative dishes for the evening, but it was very good just the same.

Located right next door is a market which was very handy to pick up those assorted snacks that we enjoyed on the balcony. It was a very good and unique place to stay. Thank you so much.

Room Tip: The Lincoln room has the only private balcony

We were treated royally by host Carol. The Inn is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was creative and delicious if one prefers run of the mill breakfasts this is not the place for one.
