I made reservations while my mother and 95 year old grandmother were traveling down I70. I called the hotel multiple times asking multiple questions. The lady at the front desk was very assuring and helpful each time I called. My mother and grandmother both told me about their stay (I work at a hotel). They mentioned they were extremely busy at check-in but quickly got to them and apologized for their wait. They also made sure they were close to the elevator so my grandmother didn't have to walk far. That evening my mom had a hard time accessing the outside door and walked around to the front desk for help. Although she was not prompting the door correctly they walked her around to be sure she could access the door with no problems. They next morning breakfast was wonderful and they made special accommodations for my grandmother's tea. The hotel was very busy but each employee they came in contact with made them feel special and important. This is very impressive. Did I mention they were receiving a special discounted rate? Even at a low rate they were equally important. My mom travels this interstate several times a year. Zaneville is a good stopping point and she will be staying at the Comfort Inn from now on.

The comfort in was Great, people very friendly, and breakfast wax good!
The only major issue is PARKING. Every night the lot was full of trucks and trailers parked side ways taking up slot of spaces.
Another issue is the Internet kept shutting down.

From the lobby to the rooms, this hotel is old and noisy. Sits right on the intertate so there is tons of street noise and its dark and feels like 1982. The Hamton or the HIE are much better at the same price.

The hotel is currently being renovated. They are doing a spectacular job. There is free wifi and nice big flat screen TVs. There is a wonderful free breakfast including bacon, eggs, sausage gravy, biscuits, and waffle machine. They have a sign out front of the hotel claiming to be the only locally owned hotel. There are plenty of chain restaurants nearby. Mostly sit-down restaurants, including Bob Evans, Olive Garden, and Red Lobster. The hotel site design is not very motor coach friendly, but passable. It's on a hill and getting around the building is tight. But hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating, even going so far as to cone off parking spots.

This is an older, solid brick motel that has been refurbished very well. Broad halls, thick walls, you don't hear your neighbors. Even though it's close to I-70, the exit is arranged in such a way that you should take along instructions. Getting back onto I-70 is a snap. Very clean rooms, very good staff, very reasonable prices. Typical decent breakfast with good variety. And get this: If you're a veteran, you get an additional discount. Just bring along your DD-214 or equivalent.
