Loved the building and the decor. Gallery is airy and laid out artfully. Great gift shop with lots of Frank Lloyd Wright books and designed items including clothing, home decor, and gift items.

Frank Lloyd Wright skyscraper on the prairie--such a weird, wonderful experience. There is a sense of melancholy about the place: it feels lonely up in the rooms with the wind whistling through the copper louvres outside. I wish I could have seen the building when it was fully in use by the community, with offices and apartments full of people. Price's penthouse office is an amazing space, absolutely gorgeous but tiny. The secretary's desk outside is so compact it could be on a submarine. How did this building function?

Wright's genius and the impracticality of his genius, are on full display. Light fixtures, stair rails, those copper louvres take your breath away they are so beautifully designed. An essential stop for anyone interested in Wright's architecture; worth the drive from anywhere in northeastern Oklahoma.

If you are into Frank Lloyd Wright or architecture this is a “must see” attraction. This was his only skyscraper and it was built more on FLW’s idea of what a skyscraper should be rather than what Mr. Price wanted. The art galleries on the first floor are large and spacious, these were shops originally. When I went they were very cold. The guided tour of the tower takes you up tiny elevators and you get to see small but efficient apartments and office areas. The Price HQ at the top is interesting to see. The film was of pretty poor quality, that was the only disappointment of the visit (the film was fine, the copy was poor and jumpy).
Children would be bored, and if you are not into architecture you will find it just another old building. No photography inside the building, but you can take lots of pictures outside. The building is just a simple square in plan, but in the hands of Frank Lloyd Wright, he created a complex façade that is different on all sides and changes constantly as the sun moves across the sky, so there are lots of photo opportunities. The building really isn’t handicapped friendly, mostly because of Wright’s style of design. Free parking on street or in lot behind the building. Highly recommended for architecture buffs. $12 for the tower tour which lasts a little over an hour. Plan on an extra 30 minutes to tour the art center and walk around the outside of the building.

I was just nine years old when We were introduced to being called "pipeline brats". My stepdad, Hermit Vestal worked for H.C. Price out of Bartlesville, OK. We were always told that the main headquarters was a big tall (money-Green) building and I could hardly wait to see it. Well, we traveled all over the USA, but I never saw the building until I myself traveled all over the USA as a pilot-car person. It was 2006 and I thought it was amazing, so I took my MOM just last week to see it. She was also very impressed with it. It is truly a work of art. I was also impressed by the fact that Frank Lloyd Wright designed it. A wonderful building for sure.

as Frank Lloyd Wright's only built skyscraper, this is a must see of architectural enthusiasts. the brilliance of FLW is seen in this iconic building that graces the downtown of Bartlesville. Stay the night, enjoy the Copper Bar and music, tour the visiting art exhibition, and purchase a souvenir from the gift shop.
