The quaint cabin is very secluded yet close to brewries, wineries, dinning, fishing and park recreation. The cabin is stocked with everything you need just show up with a few grocery items an un plug from it all. With three bedrooms and two full baths there's plenty of room. We hike, and fished on site and had a great relaxing trip.
Our stay at Antler Cabin was so wonderful! The pictures on the web page do not do it justice. When we opened the door and walked in ....WOW!! It is so beautiful and clean!! This is the best cabin we have stayed in! It is definitely more than five stars!! Everything is there...all you need to bring is food and clothing. The owner Jim is so nice and easy to work with! He would check to see how we are doing and if we need anything. He takes such pride in his place...that it really shows! It is so peaceful and very secluded! We enjoyed our walks on the many trails! We would sit on the deck at night overlooking the pond and listen to all the night time sounds! So relaxing...we did not want to leave! Can't wait to go back again!!
Just now getting around to writing our review of the Antler Cabin. We spent Thanksgiving 2016 at the cabin for three days...we left on the fourth day. It could not have been better. We loved the privacy of the cabin on the pond. The first day we saw deer over by the feeder. Spent lots of time sitting on the back porch just relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Took many hikes around the two ponds and the property. Kitchen set up was great. We cooked turkey, ham and all the fixings for a Thanksgiving feast. Lay out of the cabin was perfect. We ended up just using the downstairs. We went for a drive one day but spent the rest of the time at the cabin. We didn't want to leave. If we could own a getaway of our own, this would be the place. You are away from it all even though you have television and internet. You actually drive through a little community of rentals; however, once you go through the gate to Antler Cabin you are isolated from the world. Jim was great and answered every questions we might have in a very timely manner. Can't wait to take another trip in the future to the cabin. Thanks for a great time.
The cabin was magnificent and extremely secluded. Three bedrooms and two baths. Very nice inside and very well equipped. 3/4 wrap around porch with two ponds which we caught several fish from. The cabin for us was perfect location ...in between where we launched the boat and where we golfed. Lots of birds and we saw deer and lots and lots of beautiful trees. The owner, Jim was very accommodating and responsive and his directions led us straight there.... Broken Bow and Beavers Bend area is one of our favorite places on earth and this place just made it even better!!
Words can't even express how truly wonderful this cabin is. The pictures of Antler Cabin do NOT do it justice. Our small family (4 adults, 2 kids) spent several days at the cabin and we made memories that will last a lifetime. There is plenty of room with 3 queen bedrooms. Hiking, fishing (lots of bass, catfish, and bluegill), grilling, this cabin has it all. We came not knowing what all to bring and sure enough we didn't need much, the cabin has it all already. The property is very private and quiet. Cell service is good, and there is satellite tv for rainy days, or tired nights. The owner, Jim, is fantastic to work with and he truly cares about your stay. He is easily contacted for advice on the property, dining options, and local activities. If I could I would give it 6/5 starts. We will be back!
We just left a quick family trip to Antler Cabin near Broken Bow and had a wonderful time. This was our first trip to the Broken Bow area and we are so glad we chose this location. The cabin is just out of town and in a very secluded area with a back porch view of a private pond.
This was our daughter's first time in the "forest" and this was the perfect introduction to the outdoors. We were able to enjoy long hikes around the property and not feel like we were on top of other people. We fished in one of the two ponds and got a nibble but no real bites. We made s'mores and enjoyed the fresh air.
The cabin is beautiful with everything you need to be completely comfortable and enjoy time with friends and family. Jim was very accommodating and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely go back!
My husband and I are seniors who have stayed in 5 star resorts around the world, and these days have been trying to stay closer to home. We've rented other cabins around Broken Bow and were looking for a new place to relax and celebrate our anniversary, and loved the idea of our own fishing pond.
The only problem we had at Antler Cabin was LEAVING!
From now on, we'll look no further. The property offered everything we wanted and more. Some of the things that were a pleasant surprise were: The beautifully stocked kitchen (unusual in cabins); The cleanliness inside and out; (Mindi is a jewel) and Jim's above-and-beyond hospitality (from afar)
We spent six days at the cabin and left only once, to find some good fried catfish. (Jim, the catfish at Steven's gap was great. -almost as good as their onion rings). What more can we say except that our legs are still sore from all the hiking, and that we regret not having stayed longer.
