in Guymon! Marla's is OK. They do have desserts like cobblers and chocolate cake. Skip the chicken fried steak if you are a Texan... you'll be disappointed!

We used to frequent this restaurant when we lived in Guymon, it was busy, service was good & food was wonderful! We missed it, but were sorely disappointed!! We were seated immediately, given menus & drinks. Then left alone for 8 minutes until we left, we were hungry! It was suppertime, there was only 1 other couple in there, the wait & cook staff stood at the cash register, giggled & visited....ignored us. NEVER returning!

Again excellent lunch this time, last time was supper. Again the best Mountain Oysters, calf fries, these people know how to fix them. My wife had another selection and it was just as good as my Mountain Oysters. Please is clean, service was excellent. will stop here again for a big ole plate of Mountain Oysters.

Saw the sign for the Green Chili Chicken Fry and decided to stop in. Hard to beat good green chili... Being so close to New Mexico and southern Colorado I figured it was GREEN CHILI. WRONG!!!! I'm pretty sure it was just the canned green slime enchilada sauce available at any supermarket. If the chicken fry was hand-breaded it was done in some food processing plant. It had the taste And appearance of chopped and formed frozen patty. It was about the size of a frozen hamburger party. To top it all off, it only stayed with me for about 25 minutes, which is always a pleasant experience. Absolutely terrible.

Excellent food, great staff, I had the mountain oysters and they were prepard as well as the Buckhorn Excange or Erms. Wife had Mesican and it was just as good as any we have eaten on this trip. Prices were good as well. Service was fast and friendly.
